I just want something thats SteamVR centric that is smaller and lighter than Index and a considerable upgrade.
Q3 fits everything except the SteamVR and I dont really need wireless.
Exciting video. I might have missed it but what 2 base stations and stands do you recommend? Any light you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
ОтветитьThis piece is a revelation; much like a book that was a revelation in its genre. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Author Name
ОтветитьExcept we don’t have controllers for it. Are we able to hook individual ones up to this headset?
ОтветитьThis or the Pimax Crystal? I have a Reverb G2 but was wondering ir triples would be better for racing, because of higher fps’s.
ОтветитьDoes this headset have the virtual desktop like the Areo?
ОтветитьMy issue with the headset is that its a custom made piece. So when the tech inevitably gets better next year and the year after that and so forth, you'll need to fork out another large sum of money with no way of recapturing residual value from the old headset. This could change if Big Screen offers some kind of trade-in program, but they could grossly underpay since they are the only ones with the capability of adjusting the headset to a new user. Buyers will need to consider how long they'll own the headset and determine if its worth blowing $1k with no chance of recovery.
ОтветитьToo much money for what it is, i much rather go for varjo aero instead
ОтветитьThe weight feel on the bridge of the nose from a typical VR headset can pretty much be cancelled out if you buy a head strap for whatever brand headset you have. I had the same issue with my VR headset until I bought an over the head strap from a third party vendor. It completely took the weight off the bridge of the nose and put it on the top of the head where it belonged. Now I can do VR for hours whereas before I could only do VR for 30 to 45 minutes.
ОтветитьWould you say this is better the Reverb G2? My cable went out and Im going to need to upgrade soon....
ОтветитьOne thing I didn’t see you talk about is graphic settings in game, and if you were able to hold a solid 90 fps. Would be awesome to know! I have similar pc specs so that would be nice information to know:)
Ответитьnice review ! I think I switch from my reverb G2 after over 2 years to this Bigscreen VR .... a lightweight VR on your head while driving is very comfortable I think so. I don't want a heavy weight VR while driving and the good quality in dark situations make a NOS24 race on night very funny
Ответитьoouuuweeee that's a nice looking headset
ОтветитьToo expensive, £1200 in the UK
ОтветитьHELLO AND THANKS I don't know if you have already tried this 3 but tell me what to buy as VR TODAY thank you very much
ОтветитьMan.. That sucks.. I was waiting for so long for light weight PC VR that doesnt need all that tech and basically acts like a screen you can connect your Controllers to and go ham. THIS IS IT!
WHY is it more expensive than the other headsets on the market? Makes no sense to me.
too expensive and the fact that you need to buy lighthouses too is just a joke
ОтветитьDefinitely something I'd be looking at. Traditional big VR hurts my eyes and gives me headaches.
Ответитьif it was wireless i would buy it...
ОтветитьThe BigScreen Beyond is way way overpriced , at the moment today been 26/10/2023 They need to drop the price by at least 50% as do Pimax Crystal, and Varjo Aero. All these companies are just greedy profiteering scammers , Feeding off the gullible VR Fanatics . I say boycott their products until they lower the prices . All the extras you have to buy . Controllers .Base Stations , Extra this, extra that. I say shove them where the sun dont shine .
ОтветитьEven 90 fps is low. Sure in some games you may get away with it, but if you look to use it in DSC is on the lower side. Sure up in the sky you will not notice it, but when you hit the deck you need at least 120 stable. Hope we will have 240 hz headsets soon. Maybe RTX 6090 or 7090 willl be able to mentain a minimum of 120fps while maxed out rendering distance. At every pc update cilce I take a new look at vr and while I see an improvement, I feel we need to a at least double of performance at bare minimum for VR to really work.
ОтветитьI was hesitant to get this - a bit pricey and there’s a 2-3 month lead time, but this confirmed it’s the right decision. Can’t wait!
ОтветитьDamn, I want one
Ответитьso its perfect for using with motion rigs? since I have my RCC mk2 seat, my g2 is shaking sooo much. feels like the formula 1 head bounce.
ОтветитьThis is just ridiculous, nearly double the price in OZ.
ОтветитьTHANKS FOR THE VIDEO WHERE CAN YOU BUY THE TRIPODS FOR THE STATION BASE?
ОтветитьSo now that it's been three months. Is this your daily driver for VR?
Ответитьmy only gripe, is for 1000 bucks is the non adjustable ipd...
Ответитьwhy does it cost almost 400 bucks more in europe?
Ответитьthis is the first vr headset that starts to look like something i would want.
ОтветитьHey! Thanks a lot for the video, it was really great.👍
Could you please give me advice? I think you're the only one who has enough knowledge in this area to answer my question.
I'm mostly looking for a headset to watch movies and shows. I have a good 65" hdr oled tv but want to get really cinema and 3d effects with good picture(I don't have an appropriate wall for a video projector).
My priority is not comfort but to get the most enjoyable and realistic picture from watching movies.
I'm ready to buy Pimax Crystal but is it the best choice in comparison with Bigscreen Beyond or maybe there is a better choice? I mean which one can give the best cinematic experience? I've read that Pimax Crystal has HDR and Bigscreen has a "glare" issue during scenes with high contrast, is it true?
Or maybe it's impossible for now to get better cinematic experience from a VR headset than from a good 65" hdr oled tv set? What do you think?
1369€ for Europe FFS!! free shipping at least... lol
Ответитьit has also a lot of glare. I am happy to see that the technology is moving forward, but I guess we need another 5-6yrs for a VR to evolve to a point it is good
Ответитьfantastic mate 👌where is the cheapest place to get v2 base stations from in Australia Will?
ОтветитьConsidering the aero is now the exact same price, would you still go for BSB?
It seems other than comfort, aero has the edge with foveated rendering and a few other things. And in the aero review you seemed to still love the comfort of it so would definitely appreciate some feedback! Going to order one after 😄
The only thing I didn't like about the quest 1's oled screens is the screen door effect otherwise oled is the best.
ОтветитьWill does this headset work with openxr too?
ОтветитьSeven times thinner than a human hair, but the lens blows it way up. Tho the unit looks really cool, I wish it came in at 120hz.
ОтветитьHow does tracking work? And controllers?
Also would opencomposite / openXR work to bypass steamVR?
$1000usd? LOL. Okay.
ОтветитьIf only this headset can do more FOV and better res this would be insane.
ОтветитьWill - would the original tracking units for the HTC Vive work with this headset?
ОтветитьThey need to come up with a more generic fitting option, besides having to customize to person's face.
ОтветитьGreat review. We have about the same problems when it comes to VR so I really appreciate it.
ОтветитьTo much money.
Ответитьbeautiful video I will definitely buy them could you make a video on how to set everything up with ACC thank you very much for your time
ОтветитьSo hold up... we're paying $1000 for a headset that is a small solution, with no audio solution, is not wireless, and requires pre-bought steam VR lighthouse stations.
Meanwhile... I could get a quest 2 which solves all of these issues for less than half the price? I don't see this selling well because it lacks visual clarity, and while it is cool, it's certainly not a good buy.
Will you be doing a review for the Q3?
ОтветитьHow does ACC look in the headset ? Worth it or ?
Ответить
