How to Convert MP4 to MP3 in Windows 10

I realize this video is 6 years old now, but just so you and anyone else watching knows, the second converter you added to the description requires a subscription to convert files.

Actually you can change from mp4 to mp3 on file explorer.
1. Go to the view section and click on options on this pc (windows 10) or file explorer (windows 7)
2. Go to view on options and click on hidden files and folders.
3. Click on show hidden files, folders, or drives and click apply and ok.
4. Click on the mp4 file and then press the F2 key to change the name.
5. Change the mp4 file to mp4 and you will se a message saying that if you change the extension, it might be unstable.
6. Click ok and test to see if it works.
I did that for my music that I downloaded and it works and the audio works. And there you have it.

you dont need to do this, simply just rename the file and change .mp4 to .mp3
