THE KILLER CLOWN: JOHN WAYNE GACY

The thing that sticks out most obvious to me about his claim of having multiple personality disorder is the fact that one of the altars that didn't do the killing, had full recollection of all the details of the killing, including events leading up to it, the cleanup, the emotions (specifically enjoying watching the first victim die). That's just not how it works, and even if it was, if your alter kills one person, I can technically understand not going to police, because you're panicking and you don't want to get arrested and all that. But after two murders, three murders, 10 murders, 20 murders 30 murders! I don't think most people would be okay to continuously sacrifice the lives of teenagers in the most brutal way amd live above their dead bodies just to avoid prison or a mental institute.

im not tryna say this in a bad way but at least the way they got killed was by being Strangled and not killed in some Brutal torturous way (not saying that strangulation isn’t brutal or tortuous but u get my point they could’ve been killed in a way that made them suffer for days)

I have my own theory on what I think happened with the first murder. I think that Gacy made unwanted advances on the guy he picked up/tried to assault him, and the guy resisted and possibly threatened to call the police. So he killed him because of that. I think that seems more believable especially given his history.

It’s so infuriating. Humans are so depraved and I’m embarrassed to be one.

the fact that he had the audacity to VERY clearly lie about the circumstances of his first murder. his need for self-preservation is disgusting, even as he describes his heinous crimes. he acted as though he just accidentally discovered that he liked murdering people. every murder was planned and intentionally executed. even the first.

Shame on his second wife for not reporting anything when she knew what was happening

I think the moment he and his friend cornered that girl when they were kids he should've had some sort of intervention by authorities whether thats therapy or the like. Then when he was first doing all those inappropriate parties with underage boys he shouldve had someone stop and confront him. He shouldnt have had his first conviction wiped (god know how many people that mightve saved) and all the countless little things should have been looked into (the very obviously young boys he was surrounding himself with, the mutliple accusations, the car, the screaming, the multiple workers of his who were either raped or killed and suddenly distanced themselves or went missing as a result). Not to mention the fact not once did anyone stop and wonder what was going on with the young boys living at his house, the extended trips away with his workers where he'd put them in inappropriate situations and how he'd go out late at night/early morning and come back with different teenagers every time. Did none of his neighbours wonder or notice even once that one of his thirty three victims went into his house and never left?? Im still in disbelief that the neighbours heard screaming late at night multiple times and didnt even ask about it much less call the police. I have no clue even if you thought someone was the worlds greatest person why you wouldnt atleast call an ambulance seeing as for all they knew he couldve been the one who was injured/needed help, screaming from anger, excitement, fear ect are very different from someone screaming in pain and scared for their life. His wife didnt even notice/question they very detectable stench of something rotting in their bedroom wardrobe?? There are so many times he should have been stopped, whether by being arrested, confronted or having someone actually put him in therapy. Do i think he definitely wouldnt have killed and raped these poor boys if he had proper therapy? No but i think had he seen a psychiatrist before his first prision stint they mightve picked up on his aggressive and sexually predatory nature. Maybe they couldve helped him and prevented it who knows but at the very least they probably wouldve been more likely to notice all the warning signs. His childhood was absolutely a factor of how he turned out too, no doubt the constant homophobia caused alot of inner-hatred and confusion, mixed with the traumatic upbringing of constant physical and psychological abuse and the major head injury courtesy of his father it was a perfect breeding ground for what leads to murderous behaviour later on. He cant blame his actions on his childhood but i dont think he would have been capable of doing those actions if he grew up in a safe and supportive environment. Even the still weird but seemingly insignificant things like his choice to live (all be it illegally) in a morgue should have been ringing alarm bells. What normally adjusted person goes to live in a morgue, and then audibly panicked begs their mother to move back to their abusive household after escaping it once already. Surely his mother who knew and defended him against his father should have been concerned even if she didnt know he had lived or worked at the morgue by the fact he was scared enough to beg her to come back. He was calculated enough to make not only those close to his victims like him but the wider community too, which might be genuine for most people but alot of serial killers and cult leaders often are referred to as charismatic, thus people should have taken a step back with the first incidents and especially the first allegation that lead to him being imprisioned before he paid the other kid the intimidate them and wonder why the hell this young boy would lie about that and then question why the hell john was ever even alone or trying to be around with all these young boys to begin with. Why would a mid to late 20's man want with teenage boys who work at the kfc he manages? Why were people seemingly fine with all their underage kids coming home drunk after spending longer than they should have at work with their boss?? Its infuriating how many opportunities arose to stop him or atleast catch him up in his crimes that the police and community failed to do so on. There should never be a police system that makes it not only possible but dare i say somewhat easy to rape and murder 33 boys and young men. Thats not even including his other rapes and assaults, the 2 victims HE LET GO one of which reported him to the police where they should have seen his previous crimes.

This is one of most uncomfortable cases for me, to the point I took off my headphones several times. All the other cases I'm fine with, but this one; this one I just can't stomach. There's an episode of Ghost Adventures, Zak had his direct spirit talker in his right pocket while he was holding the SLS camera. Now here's the thing Zak is right handed like I am and his left hand was completely still. So the fact he not only got that spirit talker out of his pocket; but showed up on the SLS at another angle is amazing, yet terrifying. It goes to show you why the SLS is my favorite piece of equipment.

Doesn't make sense what Gacy said... if you don't agree with hurting children how did you literally MURDER and RAPE so many children then.. literally the sculls and body parts found were small the size of children or teens but teens still are children if you look at it realistically like this guy does not make any sense with what he had said about of a lot of things like how he didn't agree with the insanity plea... Look up one of the videos by Mr. Ballen telling about people who survived run in with killers. One of the guys actually made John Wayne Gayce change his plan to kidnap people cause he was able to open the door to his car and escape.

I really think people should do more research on the lethal injection, it is very rarely performed by doctors as it goes against the Geneva convention the science behind it is extremely unsubstantiated and downright stupid, and only had a first time success rate of about 20%

Since this is three hours, I’m probably going to end up editing this comment several times. But so far I’m leaving his comment where his father was from the military and he got abusive. I’m not going to say this with every father that has been in the military, but having a father, that is an ex Navy seal I can confirm that this is usually the case. Running from my father and getting beat with a belt was such a normal thing that I tried to make it normal with everybody else in my school, but I found out that it was low-key abuse. so I just thought I’d put that in there cause that’s kind of sad and that does have a massive impact on peoples mental health. My father has massive anger issues, memory loss, and trauma. That being said it makes him very hard to admit things like when he’s wrong and so usually does and I’m getting hurt when they realize that.

Actually really interesting how John didn’t go start a cult because he had all the characteristics of a cult leader. Charismatic, charming, convincing (rallying people), predatory, and loves attention and to be part of an organisation. Also if he had been a cult leader, he could hv gotten away with the sexual advances made on the underaged kids because all the cult leaders seem to be able to do that and still had their followers’ respect 🙄🙄🙄

...Before Gacy's arrest, people thought clowns were mostly associated with the circus, carnivals, fun times, childrens' shows and parties...They brought joy, laughs, and happiness, and couldn't nor wouldn't hurt you at all! Much of that illusion drastically changed after this monster went down!
