I think , that famous and Very Large Wooden Buddha's Statue is also Located in one of those Mentioned Buddhist Temples .

Hi, do U think all those 10 places in Kyoto can be reached by JR train? Esp like from Fushimi Inari Shrines to Arashima Bamboo Forest and Kankuyoji Temple? Am thinking to buy a 5-Day JR Kansai Hiroshima pass because I wanna see Hiroshima, too, in addition to Osaka and Kyoto. Thank you. Am still trying to understand the train systems in Japan so I don't buy the wrong expensive train pass that doesn't pay off :)

It was one of the prime targets for the A-bomb.however, one man who spent his honeymoon there decades earlier and loved it convinced president Truman to use a different city in its place. So instead it was Nagasaki that took the fate of the bomb
