We’re looking for someone to build something like this is it something you’d do?
ОтветитьGreat Video!!! What hammer is that mate?
ОтветитьReally liked this as I'm building a 24x12 ft shed, do you have any videos showing the gutter edge for the rubber roof in more detail. Keep up the excellent work
ОтветитьFantastic build. I am moving to a small house with a big garden, looking at 30m2 to build a workshop, can do 4x7.5 or 5x6 but struggling with the roof timber heights. What would you do with such a big build? The shape is not too important. Cheers
ОтветитьReally well explained , step by step guide .
ОтветитьCould you provide a material list for this please?
ОтветитьVery informative, great job
ОтветитьI’m not an expert or being cheeky. Just interested in why you didn’t just add an extra piece of wood at the front to give you your run from front to back instead of cutting all your added rafters at an angle. I’m not clued up and plan to build something with my dad supervising me but I was just interested if there was a reason. Love the videos btw! I’m always reluctant to ask questions because sometimes people are dead negative on peoples workmanships even tho everything is spot on and don’t want to come across as that person lol
ОтветитьWould be nice if we can get the name , quantity and average prices of all the materials used. This video got me excited because I'm actually planning one of these for spring .
ОтветитьWould you guys suggest making additional ventilation if this were to become a gym or is this set up adequate enough?
Ответитьnever seen such a well organised help video like this before. super job
ОтветитьThis is incredible. Thankyou for this video! Will save me a bomb. Out of interest what were the costs in total involved to build this? Excluding labour of course.
ОтветитьCracking video! 👏🏼 quick question, if building on top of an existing patio would you just lay the sole on the slabs with DPM on the bottom or raise it slightly?
ОтветитьYou skipped how you attach your roof rafters to the walls
ОтветитьBloody brilliant guys. Cheers 🍻
ОтветитьReally useful thanks v much
ОтветитьWhat size timers are you using for the walls?
ОтветитьHey!, bit confused, you made a slanted roof, but didn't show cutting the fascias? or did you leave them straight?
ОтветитьMark/Phil - as you know I do Decorating.. not building lol so I'm watching as you go along... quick question with the base. The blue brick will stop the damp coming up, then you put a DPC membrane on, what stops water getting between that and the wood? Last thing you want is that base wood starting to get wet all the way around.
Also, what Hight is this build, re needing planning permission?
great video
ОтветитьThank you 👍
ОтветитьSo helpful this. Curious how much a project like this costs
ОтветитьI’ve watched so many garden room build videos recently and this is the best one I’ve watched so far. Really helpful for when I start stage 2 of my self build garden room!👍
ОтветитьDo you have insulation and DPM in the floor? Or did I miss that in the video?
ОтветитьThe wood you
used to build the walls is it tantalised?
Thank you, how high is it also what will be put on the floor, it looks great 👍
ОтветитьHi, what are the measurements for this garden room and do you need planning permission?. Thank you
ОтветитьWhat was the cost and do you cover Whiston L35 by any chance?
ОтветитьFrom watching you videos, I successfully fitted carpets throughout my house, now im looking at a garden office and this video is just what I needed! Just one question; Why did you not use PIR in the walls? Cost or difficulty of fitment due to the T&E cables?
ОтветитьGreat video, thanks guys..
ОтветитьGreat video guys
ОтветитьExcellent video. Just a simple thing, you should double up the top plate on your stud walls. By having a single plat the roof load through the rafter pushes through wherever the rafter sits. With a double top plate that load is spread throughout the whole wall - that's important for your window wall. You have rafters on studs here which helps. Is the building small enough to be that close to the boundary and not have to be built of non-combustible materials?
ОтветитьDo you have a rough material cost for this build ?
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьTop class work lads!!!
ОтветитьIs there any insulation under the concrete? otherwise it will just suck heat out of that room. This is the only garden room I've ever seen that neglects the floor insulation. I have a shed/bbq hut (with an electric heater) that's built directly onto a concrete pad and although it stays dry inside it's not exactly cosy!
ОтветитьVery comprehensive and professional, thank you
ОтветитьBrilliant video and work. Just need the money now to get something like this built in my garden. :)
ОтветитьFantastic video quality, gives me confidence that i can DIY this.
ОтветитьGreat video! Been following for a while and was hoping you would release one like this! Hope you don't mind me asking, how much roughly would materials cost for a build like this? Thanks!
ОтветитьBesides the rockwool installation i didnt notice anything shady. Id spread nice and evenly the rockwool not the way it looks there . Its loosing property if its smiggled and not even spread . But its uk not that cold there
ОтветитьGreat Video, quick question, when the wall sockets were installed was the vapour guard left in place or do they cut a whole in it?
ОтветитьAmazing video and great to see tradesmen doing a really clean job
ОтветитьJust wondering what floor you put in, looked like the slab exposed at the end of the video?
ОтветитьThis is definitely the best video ive seen on building a garden room. Love all the advice and tips.
One thing ive always wondered tho is when it comes to membranes and damp proof, surely once you put bolts through it or nail through it defeats the purpose of stopping moisture get through?
What was the total cost of this build.?
Ответить👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWhat’s the average cost on one of these? Materials and labour
Ответить
