Thank you. Quite helpful but my problem is I can't get my S5 applying the lut in the preview assist. Even when I used the 709 it's still the v-log view and both monitor and HDMI are selected although no HDMI is connected. Any tip? Thanks

I am having issues loading this LUT on my S5. The read LUT option is grayed out in the camera. I don't have any problem loading the Gamut VLT Lut that I purchased. Any suggestions on how to load the varicam .VLTs on the panasonic S5? Thanks

Nicest and Golden are the best from that pack. Nicest gives a bit of purple tint to the picture.

There really isn't such a thing as a "correct" LUT or look. Everyone has different tastes when it comes to how much contrast, color and sharpness they prefer. What looks good to me may not to the next person. I love high contrast and punchy color while maintaining natural skin tones. Other's prefer are more 'neutral' look.

Realy usefull pointer with these LUT pack. Tested out the second I saw your video. I think the Agressive LUT looks pretty good, alog with the Nicest. Thank you for this peace of very usefull information and best of luck to you!

I used to adjust the Luma manually (in FCP) then apply the Panasonic rec 709 LUT at 50% before choosing a final LUT,
but then FCP added a white balance tool which is either Auto or click on something White in the scene (sometimes the white card I introduced at the beginning) and I find that does a very good job at adjusting the Luma (so that’s one less step) then I add the Rec 709 LUT (starting at 50%) before the final LUT (also starting at 50%).

These luts are actually quite nice. Interested to see your short film.

By purchasing GH Alex lut you get three luts, and Ari Alexa simulation lut is the one I like the most. Nice videi!
