I’m living in a halfway house/sober living atm and sharing a room with a girl that got REALLY heavy in her sobriety, so she basically sounds like a running lawnmower all night..I bought noise canceling earbuds but it STILL cut through. It’s am so grateful for this vid.

It’s 3:20 am and i’m sharing a hotel night with my dad. he is not only suffering from sleep apnea but he is also in denial about it, and refuses to do anything to help his condition. I normally never suffer from insomnia, but i’m a very light sleeper (even white noise normally keeps me up, i need silence) this actually works. my earplugs aren’t enough to drown out his cacophony, but playing this in my airpods (uncomfortable as it is) actually is helping. god send. i was skeptical at first but this saved my ass, I have to ski all day tomorrow and I need sleep. 🙏🙏🙏

If anyone is curious to my back story on how I got here
I moved out at 21, and lived with my bf until 24. He never snored. I shared a small bed with him and never had any issues with sleep.
I moved back in to my parents home at 24. By this time, my grandmother was sleeping in my original bedroom. So I was forced to share my room with her.
This is when I discovered I have Misophonia.
Misophonia is strong and negative emotional reactions to sounds that most people do not notice, such as chewing or breathing. Hearing these sounds may trigger chest pressure and other symptoms of anxiety.
Her snoring bothers me, irritates me, disturbs my sleep always, makes me cry/sleep on the couch forcefully multiple times.
When I explain these things to other people, they feel I’m being dramatic because they don’t have misophonia.
I try to fall asleep before her but I couldn’t today so I decided to make loud noises to wake her like I usually do and NO NOISE WOKE HER UP. Not my coughing, not slamming my airpods case on the floor, not loud videos on full blast. So I kept scrolling through reels on full blast and suddenly a video with people on an airline comes up and her snoring stopped
I changed the video and it was back (so was the rage)
I instantly searched up airline noise and now I found my cure.

This worked! I have misophonia anyway, and no one likes snoring. I was camping with family, and I was pushed to my limit and I found this. I dont know how it works, but it masked the snoring almost perfectly, on maybe 30% volume. Thank you!

My mom snores so loud every single night, refuses to acknowledge that she has sleep apnea and snores SO loud that I hear it through our bedroom walls. It’s so bad that not even this covers the snores.

You know what's bizarre? I feel more at peace knowing the painful truth than believing the deception. We can close the medical file on this one. Know what I mean?

It's currently 4:18am and i stil can't effing sleep because of my roommate's snoring. I already tried banging things to make loud noise and even playing a snoring video in full volume. But alas everything was a fail. Hoping that i could finally sleep with this.
