how to make the posts on archive page 3 per row? horizontoally
ОтветитьConsider to Piotnet Bricks Addons <3
ОтветитьIs the Loop builder a little like Jet Listings with Elementor and croco?
ОтветитьElementor was a big NO for us a few years ago UNTIL we discovered "Anywhere Elementor Pro" - which adds a Loop Builder to Elementor. We've been using it for at least 4 years and love it.
Thanks for the amazing videos though - we're super keen to see the progress of Bricks Builder though - looks like it gaining a large fan base!
The single reason why I am staying with Elementor is because of the massive community. Bricks looks incredible and looks very lightweight. But if their dev team gets struck by lightning one day….so does my business.
ОтветитьThis looks good, but i'm good in Elementor. Would you which from element or to bricks?
ОтветитьSomething Themify has had for years now
ОтветитьBricks prices are better , I think with more time Bricks will be better than Elementor
ОтветитьI can't wait to ditch Elementor - still don't think Bricks is ready to replace all my client sites running Elementor
ОтветитьWell, I almost bought Oxygen but now I'm going Bricks all the way. Less fuss, less code and more production.
ОтветитьGreat video as always. I bought also Zion Builder, and lately, I'm starting to dig it more than Bricks.
ОтветитьWow, I had no idea this tool existed! Like others on this thread, I'm invested heavily into the elementor toolset and "way of working".
However, I love their lifetime licence model for early birds, so I feel I should support this project anyway and getting an unlimited lifetime licence now could be a great investment down the line if this tool starts to dominate.
Divi > Elementor > Bricks > A Dog paiting in MS PAINT > Guntemberg.
ОтветитьElementor is for lazy people!
ОтветитьI'm curious how Bricks compares to Oxygen. Has anyone compared them?
ОтветитьAre page structures created by Bricks better than those created by Elementor?
Ответитьcan we already use query relationships???. It will be enough for me and would be the final step for switching to bricks. Thanks Paul :)
ОтветитьI’m going to start messing about with this tomorrow! What I’m really looking forward too is a modal option! That will fully enable me to break away from Elementor!
Although, I’m hoping Bricks will allow the use of WpAmplify which eliminates a host of other plugins and brings me down to 5 at best! Then pushing that through my litespeed servers and quic cloud CDN, and it should be like a rocket 🚀 on the loading times!
Yes but Brick does not have a free trial they need people to purchase even they do know they will like it or not, I don't think this makes sense if they need to compete with Elementor. also they are $79, more expensive than Elementor, did they provide same features? also with Elementor, you can use sections to create loops. Thanks
ОтветитьThanks much on your thoughtful videos. I wish if you can make a video comparing cons and pros of websites with Elementor and Bricks. I would like to see the most important differences esp when it comes to speed and google rating.
ОтветитьI love your work!!! 😀👍
ОтветитьNice ! Job!
ОтветитьIs it just me or it seems like a oxygen builder knock off. (?)
ОтветитьMaybe we'll all soon witness "Brixit" from Elementor Pro eco-system 🤔
ОтветитьTotally agree. Elementor is slowly but surely turning into money extortion scheme. Besides missing custom Query Loops, the most frustrating missing part is their non-existent MEGA MENU option. Elementor tutorial/help page will instruct you to use, yet another pricey (bloatware) "extension"/subscription service, from ((subsidiary shell) third party developer from India?), in order to enable the "Mega Menu" feature in the Elementor Pro. This is almost a deal-breaker for me at this point, since Elementor Pro is a very popular and mature page builder, yet lacks basic "pro" features.
Maybe the biggest red flag was their extortion level abrupt changes in their Elementor Pro pricing scheme. 🚩
Thank you very much for your "Bricks" Query Loops video! It was very informative and insightful! 👍
Paul, has there been any word on when this will actually drop into the full working version of Brick’s?
ОтветитьBrilliant demo - thanks Paul. I'm so jealous that I can't get my hands on that yet. Meantime Mr C, it would be great to see a fresh review of Bricks Woo features. I don't know if there's much in the new 1.3.7 release in that area but Bricks Woo filters that were (or are) so promising need some scrutiny and nudging in the right direction as they're not quite usable yet, I don't think, except for very simple unrelated filtering - but can't wait to test the new loop-builder on the product lists, product category loops and cross-sells etc. Great job on the loop-builder from the Bricks team meantime and in the demo - thanks bud.
ОтветитьGood day dear Paul. This is great. As allways you provide creat content.1
You are so outstanding - contributiong a video right before the presentation of WP 5.9
Its so awesome to see a video that covers WP 5.9 topics : i mean topics, like FSE, Block-Theming etc. This presentation meets the needs of many many wordpress-users: 5.9 is so awesome and outstanding new - and here the community needs some amazing, clear and concise educational videos. Keep up the project
looks very similar to the Tatsu builder?
ОтветитьFantastic video as always Paul. This looks great. However, I have spent so much time becoming proficient at Elementor and a few addons that I would be reluctant to change. Brilliant to know what other options are out there though.
ОтветитьInteresting. I dont see the need to move from Elementor just yet. Surely they will make loop building native this year...? Quite happy to use 3rd party plugin for loops, but this builder looks like something to keep an eye on!
ОтветитьGonna stay with Elementor, easier to hand over to customers.
ОтветитьELEMENTOR IS A NIGHTMARE FOR NEW USERS
ОтветитьMy answer:
Jet Engine!
Greetings from Colombia
I switch to something new when it seems like the current tools are becoming a hindrance. It's always great to know what's out there - and to fiddle around with them (it can spark new ideas for design & workflows, etc.).
ОтветитьGreat video Paul. Just noticed your mouse pad. Is it a keeper - or are you just testing? Could you share a name or a link to it?
ОтветитьI dont know how to explain, but I hate elementor since I heard "elementor" for the first time... it is not logical, but I just hate the name and the tool. Go figure ;)
Ответитьyea, Elementor should be kicked out they are looting the users. Oxygen and bricks thanks for coming in.
ОтветитьComments here are a very nice tutorial as well :-) Thank You Guys!
ОтветитьI just bought the bricks builder a few days ago to test the speed and possibilities. I was not even aware of this query builder feature and was hoping that Crocoblocks will move in. But this query builder built in option is already a pretty good start for me. Thanks
ОтветитьHi Paul, I hope the Elementor dev team are listening LOL
ОтветитьMuchas gracias.
ОтветитьI am a big fan of elementor but this builder looks stunning. Lots of things can't be done in elementor and they need separate widgets . With this it can be done in just 1 widget
ОтветитьWhat country accent is that?
Ответитьnice! did you build a complete job board with wordpress?
ОтветитьCan someone tell me how this is different than making a page template in Elementor and then use a shortcode? I feel like I'm doing this a lot already in Elementor Pro.
ОтветитьCooool. It looks like webflow CMS. I should try the bricks. Thx alot Paul.
Ответитьthe biggest problem of switching to other builders is the plugins/extensions and big community of Elementor
ОтветитьWell, one good thing about Elementor is the available free resources, tutorials and the large growing community. You can always find useful information & turn to experts for help.
