Pfft! At the end his face is like: "I hope I never see her again...!"

Then the light fury would of rejected toothless and left completely and then they would stay together looking for a night fury mate or they would just get killed.

His best friend almost DIED but "oh no, she looks pretty. Lets move past that" it's not like you barely met this dragon. It didn't make any sense and the fact that they wanted her to look as pretty as possible shows their intentions. This is WAY better

yes! This is what I like toothless to act like in the movie. In the first movie toothless was like " manly and protective" Well Toothless was not a softie and stuff but now in this movie. Toothless is all up this lightfurys ass and is such a softie. Which is OK i guess but still I like Toothless in a first ever movie. He was more cool and dark. :,)

I loved this! I know a lot of people have already said this, but I’ll say it again cuz I personally believe it to be true; I feel like this is a more accurate reaction for Toothless and his character, the bond he shared with Hiccup is too strong for him to let the Light Fury try to attack Hiccup and Astrid. Perhaps Toothless was probably in just shock of seeing another Fury (perhaps not a Night Fury but still a member of the Fury species) after so many years with dragons of other species, and probably didn’t want to scare her off. Maybe that’s it, but even with that said, I don’t think it’s a justifiable reason behind Toothless letting what happened slide. I still feel like this is a much better way of showing how Toothless would accurately react, which should have clearly displayed his loyalty to Hiccup, instead of having being all passive and lovey-dovey with the Light Fury for merely more than for the sake of the film’s plot.
Like you, I have little-to-nothing against the third film, and maybe I’m only saying this because I personally dislike the Light Fury. (Even though I’m sure a good chunk of the HTTYD fandom dislikes her in some way) (Wow, I really just went on in a rant about all that. XD)
Anyways, now that I’ve had my little rant, I’m gonna say again how amazing this video is, and how I wish this is how the film went. Even if Toothless and the Light Fury ended up together - having a development from a salty disliking of one another, to actually falling in love - would make the story a bit more interesting. But I guess it might also end up making things more frustrating - nah bro, I’m done with this comment, it’s gonna be miles long by the time I’m done- 💀
