How To Moving Time Lapse Zhiyun Smooth Q

That was probably the worst music I've ever heard. But to make it even more nasty than s**t the sound is turned up louder halfway through.

Would you know how to do a 1 full 360deg timelapse? I can do it using multiple waypoints but it stops at each waypoint for like 1 sec

Great video :) Can you do this in a "remote function" so that you can use a gopro to film rather than the phone? At the moment I just start the gopro manually on the gimbal and let the phone take photos of the table top or jeans pocket.

Hi great video! Btw can u teach me about the time intervals. Whenever i choose 0/30 or whatever i end up taking a normal moving video not a timelapse.

Yeah! The latest firmware now has this available for Android users! This was the bane awhile back, where only IOS had the moving time lapse option. Now that I have it through the update, I can use it on my Google Pixel XL. Thanks Jonathan!

can it take timelapse for 2-3 hours for example? what about slowing down at key points, and accelerate while going to the next? now it looks very sharp

what about the smartphones battery?

Hi Jonathan. Have you any tips on how to successfully connect the Smooth Q to the phone via bluetooth?

I can't seem to get the bluetooth symbol beside the home button on the top left of the Zhiyun Play app to turn blue. Fyi, I'm using Samsung S8+ and have already paired the gimbal to my phone.

I was download zh play app . More 28 days works with my smooth Q . But when take new update, now just take photo, when i want take video thay save the video at data 1/1/1970 and thy dont play the video . . Jonathan, is your smartphone and Zhiyun app in your smartphone, ios? Because the last time I checked, the motion time lapse was not available in the Zhiyun app when it comes to Android.

Thanks for posting this. Can the Motion Time Lapse record as 4K? My HTC M9 does 4K video on the app in normal use but when I do Motion Time Lapse it only saves as 1080p.

Nice job. Good tip to put the gimbal in lock mode so you can use the joystick to pan as well as tilt. I'd been rotating the gimbal and that makes it hard to know precisely where it will point at each key frame.

Can i turn it with action cam on gimbal ?

Hi there Jonathan, Nice video, short and straight to the point. I ordered one Smooth Q a few days ago and should be arriving soon. This time lapse feature looks really nice.

I am no expert, but next time try to make the caption easier to read, I had to pause the video a couple of times because it is not very visible. Also, nice music in the background.
