Mr. Wozniak, I had a pirated Apple 2 in the early 80’s in Asia. You are truly one of the giants that built Silicon Valley. Thank you for this precious gem of an interview, Patrick Bet David.
ОтветитьWow...my generation missed experiencing the evolution of the electrical genius of Steinmetz. But...we can experience digital the evolution of Steve Wozniak and computers.
ОтветитьSounds like Woz was the brains and Steve Jobs was obsessed with money.
ОтветитьSteve Wazniak is gem, unheard gem.
ОтветитьI love that he does know really how things work with the press and he said that the bog companies didn’t make a propaganda on the press because they didn’t think it will work, he remind me with elon musk and Tesla story
ОтветитьHands down to Steve Wozniak , the greatest engineer of our times . This is the greatest interview I've ever listened to as someone aspiring to be an electrical engineer myself.
ОтветитьNowadays almost anyone can assemble the old school processor memory and IO like the Apple I. But writing the monitor (the basic OS) in just 248 bytes is a miracle. Just admirable.
ОтветитьHe just said AI and chat gpt in 2010
ОтветитьUnfortunately, true engines like him not recognized and rewarding
ОтветитьWoz was the real genius. Jobs was the visionary. The pair changed the world. I have had a Mac Pro laptop for 12 years now and it is still kicking strong.
ОтветитьHe want to Remove Engineer from Apple CEO
ОтветитьHow much I wish that the owner of that Apple remembered to ask Woz to sign that piece 😂😅
ОтветитьYa, I mean Woz is clearly a prodigy and technical genius, but in addition to being smart, he's very energetic and determined. That motivational charge is essential.
ОтветитьDid the interviewer say he wanted to take over the world with PHP!?
ОтветитьPatrick (interviewer) is so disengaged, the body language he's not listening just nodding... Woz gave him a huge compliment at the beginning and he didn't bother to even acknowledge it.
ОтветитьCould the guy interviewing Woz be anymore disinterested, has no clue what an honor it is to be able to chat with Wozniak.
Ответить100% agree
ОтветитьI hope in future Issacson write book on him as well.
ОтветитьNow Apple is "LIVING THE AMERICAN DREAM"... "designed in Cupertino, made in China"
ОтветитьWhat is relevant in my profession/education, knowledge and practice.
Not relevant is so to say the money part in the beginning of your education in the computertechnology and your appearance. As long as your specialized has knowledge and experience about the computertechnology. That what counts. Your appearance and money-sum on your account isn't the issue when you are educated in computertechnology.
You do it out of your interest and hobby. Saskia van Houtert, Engineer/Office-Manager.
THE W I Z A R D, THE A N G E L & THE P I S C E S!
ОтветитьWe had an Apple Mac at school in 1983. I didn't realize my school was quite advanced...
ОтветитьVery modest and humble
ОтветитьI would've love a not so clickbaity video title 😮
ОтветитьEvery dispensation that has a Wozniak will be better
ОтветитьI bought an Apple ll in 1977. What a great time I had in learning that machine, and the computer world. First floppy drive was $650. Before that it was audio tape for program storage.
ОтветитьWoz might have been a prankster, but he ain't no studio gangster.
ОтветитьWow the best interview done by Value entertainment a joy to watch even after 13 years
Ответитьthe background noise is annoying
ОтветитьAlmost like a modern version of Tesla and Edison.
ОтветитьBs smart people always lock their doors. Ignorant people who lack common sense don’t lock them. No street smarts.
ОтветитьI have found the missing link between ape and human
Ответитьone of the best interview I've ever heard
ОтветитьWe're the people who said it was just going to be a Hoby..total morons...its human nature to enovate.
ОтветитьAbsolute loved this!
ОтветитьWoz will always be the brains of Apple. Jobs were the looks. Both needed each other, but there's nobody as humble and nice as Woz. Cheers
ОтветитьI think Woz is been a little to harsh on Ron leaving Apple so early, history could've been dramatically different if he did stayed. Much more conservative, he would not have taken the same risks that Jobs undertook, such as bringing in Mike Markkula. There were so many little computer companies popping up at that time, it's somewhat questionable how Ronald Wayne would have had the leadership to break Apple open into the industry in the same way, at the same time. My guess is that Apple would've remained a small fries company and ultimately either disbanded or sold off to a larger company for its patents by the start of the 80s.
ОтветитьA billionaire believes in profit sharing for EVERY employee...what a concept.
ОтветитьBoth named Steve ?
ОтветитьFueron complementarios, sin uno, el otro no existía, eso lógicamente, aplica cuando comenzó la compañía, luego, Steve Jobs no necesitó a Wozniak
ОтветитьCan you fix the shitty software glitches on every update ? How bout ya do that Steve
ОтветитьRest In Peace Steve Jobs ... without whom the world would be very different.
ОтветитьI didn't know captain crunch (John draper) worked at Apple, I really need to pay better attention to my phone phreaking history
ОтветитьActually the color patent belong to a Swedish inventor Håkan Lans.
HP Conpaq, Hitatchi and Dell and some other manufacturers stole this without paying.
They later lost the law suit in court and are now paying royalties to this day.
patent: 4,303,986 ”Data processing system and apparatus for color graphics display”
If Ron had stayed and weathered, on his shoulders alone, the personal financial risks of Apple for a few months later (from Apple I to II) things would been so incredibly different for him in a relatively short timeframe. That's a damn, damn shame, and although he doesn't admit it, that's got to really hurt. Then again, that's hindsight talking.
ОтветитьHe seems like such a nice guy
