This is such misinformation. The aryan invasion theory has been disproved and debunked years ago. The caste system is not in Hinduism nor is it in any authentic vedic and hindu scriptures. What's there in hindu scriptures is the varna system which is division of labor in the society. The division of labor is based on ones intellect and not by birth. The term 'caste system' however was first coined by the Portuguese. The caste system and the discrimination of people is the results of years of people translating and inserting additional verses and propagating those texts to the masses. This was further extensively aggravated by the British colonization of India. Where the govt gave preferences to a particular community and all the English translations of hindu texts were purposefully written in a way to alter the actual meaning of those texts

Imagine being born into the highest caste and moving to the US and not allowing you daughter to date/marry a Caucasian because you are a racist

Varna system is a complete lie, nowhere the scrilptres mentions about those 4 varnas but they do mention all those more than 5000 castes in bloody Hinduism(India). Caste system in Indian christians and muslims are actually created by these Brahmins. Every great person from India or Indian descendants are actually from lower castes.

It's been illegal since Indian independence but widely practiced. Virtue signaling law. They still have huge issues with women being harassed let alone deal with social caste discrimnation.

The Caste system was originally a complex method of labour division.

After millenia of warfare, invasions, and incursions from Greeks, Persians, Turks, Mongols, and Muslims, the Caste system gradually become more strict and stratified, although it's still nowhere near the modern day caste system.

And then the Brits came in. They just make things worse by adding religious conflict in to it, as well being solely responsible for the Untouchables (Yes, it was the Brits that created the Dalits.) The Brits are the one responsible for the ridicoulous caste system today.

Technically, castes were abolished in India in 1950, but just like how the US still have racism, there's still a lot of problems faced by the descendants of the lower castes. Although things are improving better with education, hygiene, and development. Don't get me wrong, the Caste problem is still damn awful, but at least India made a progress towards eradicating it.

It's amazing that our world is still so barbaric. There are many other aberrant aspects of Indian culture that are not talked about here. We have an ever-growing population of Indians in the USA for this very reason. But even in America, we have an unspoken cast system of a sort as well as race.

This is a false history. Please read Mahabharata you will know it was there before pre Mahabharata means more than 5500 years old.
Eklavya was a very good person Mahabharata itself says. But he was not given teaching of dhanurvidua because chatriya opposed it.
Karna was repeatedly abused because of his caste by great Dharmaraja Yudhisthira itself...Even lord Krishna didn't raised this caste based discrimination issue.
Read Valmiki Ramayana that Shabari used to offer to Rishis at night because she was a bhilini caste.
Rama was praised because he ate tasted fruits by Shabari. And Lakhsamana got angry when she was offering it and even when she said it's because I want to offer only sweet fruits. When Rama defeated Ravans, he told I had not faught because of Sita but because of dignity of his dynasty. Sita was waiting that Rama will come and meet her but he asked her to come to Kingly court and he was angry on Sita. This shows there was caste and gender based discrimination before Rama age means minimum 7500 years old.
Intercaste marriages were allowed in Smritis but it was lower caste girl to upper caste boy only. Eg Brahmin can marry all four caste, chatriya other than Brahmin, and vaisya other than Brahmins and chatriya. It was clearly because if they find some beautiful and talented girl from lower caste (what they say), they should have to right to marry her. And many Dasas or Gulams were used to travel and came with invaders to carry logistics support, service of army.
Baba Sahib Ambedkar told if we forget history it will repeat itself. It's like if a person forgets why person became sick he can fall sick again. Same happen with society.
We became slaves and got defeated repeatedly by invaders because the most hardworking castes eg Maharas were not allowed in army, only chatriya were suppose to get entry in Army (there are some exceptions when wise Kings didn't follow this rule to get strong soldiers).
Please read autobiography of Taimur and about Bhima Koregaon war and many other wars. When many caste for their freedom struggle supported invaders. It was like King used to do alliance to save their Kingdom. Like once Maraths Peshwas joined hand with Maysur Kingdom but later same Peshwas joined hand with Britishers against Tipu Sultan of Maysur Kingdom. Same ways many hard working castes/communities joined hands with invaders for freedom of their communities.
We need to understand how damaging is this caste based system.
When Britishers did Jati Jangadana there were 70 millions people from untouchable castes. It's means more than 35% population of that time. Can you make slave such a huge and hardworking population for more than 7500 years. But it was done on the name of dharma.
That is why Buddha, Kabir, Ravidas, Gurunanak, Jyotiba fule, Dr Ambedkar etc were strongly against varnashram system. And we just need to through this varnashrama system in dustbin without any IF and BUTS, if we want to have unity in India!
