Camera quality is nice bro but I think the entertainment factor means more than video quality. You entertain your audience and that’s the main thing.

you replaced the check strap, striker is whats on the b pillar, and the door latch "locks onto"

All the ones I’ve done have been just plastic. A slight grey black plastic. I use plastic polish and you’ll get away with a foam cone on a drill. Use a firm cone first and then a soft cone. Then wax it or ceramic coat it.

I did a kind of how to on Just Commodores.

The different boot struts for HSV vs standard Commodore range will be because of the extra weight the spoiler adds.

Also looks like you've got brighter lights either in the garage or on the camera. Looks great.

That check strap you got suits VB-VL. I hate when parts suppliers just assume everything stayed the same.
Buff the pillar moulds in place - the pillar holds them nicely, without the risk of breaking it. The clips at the bottom are sacrificed when you remove them, so you need new clips (and the middle bits from the originals end up living the rest of their life down inside the bottom of the pillar).

Hi, where did you buy the nos blinkers and headlights from please? Also can you please tell me where to find nos indicator stalk and outer door belt moulds please? I keep searching online but you seem to be able to find nos parts no problem, I’ve been subscribed since the early days, cheers mate

New camera is tops! Personally I don't like fish eye when you can avoid it, and the audio was noticeably crispier campored to the GoPro.

so a random guess is that the struts are different because the hsv spoilers are heavier than any other

The audio clarity is nice. Sounded really compressed from the go pro. Those new front lights are a great score. I can't stand plastic headlights, pretty much everything in the states from the 80/90s on has them.

Mate a bit of polish will bring your door pillars back to shiny 😊 not cut and polish just polish. Give it a go
Mine came up mint. And the mirrors too.

Forgot to mention to you the tail lights look like aftermarket because the reflectors are faded

Have been semi interested in a Sony ZV-1 myself, so good to see a straight up comparison! Picture looks great, as we all know the action cams dont fare spectacularly in low light, and like you said, no zoom etc.

In saying that, for action cams I switched to the DJI Osmo action 4, and dude it SMOKES the GoPro in just about every single way. Something to keep in mind when it comes time to retire the old work horse.

dont think i have ever seen a painted B pillar trim there with the srs sticker on it, just black plastic. if it was painted you would see where the door seals would wear through it and look awful. they come up great polished, like glass.

Do you think it’s the spoiler that is why they have different struts
