ОтветитьThank you for this video! I just started a Streaming channel! so exciting! I'll definitely check yours! cheers
ОтветитьDiscovered this video only now, but it's very helpful, thank you for putting in the effort! :) I am currently figuring out how to do what with layouts etc.
Ответитьwhat if my art sucks or isn't nearly as detailed, why would people be captivated by that?
ОтветитьBeen thinking about streaming for the past 14 hours cause of my friend
ОтветитьAppreciate these tips but I feel these are quite, uhmm, high level and applicable to most other streamers. Don’t get me wrong super helpful and right on the money, but also the same type advice gaming streamers give out too (maybe sans the “sounding like a professor” one). Would love a “102” version of this video that really narrows down on artist specific tips:
How much to talk while drawing
Incorporating audience feedback vs author intent (do they feel not heard if you don’t incorporate? Does that hurt retention?)
What kinda of art resonates well?
Do you only use the “art” tag? Or if I’m making aet of a game am i better off using that game’s tag?
What makes a “clickable title” for art making streams?
Do you only ever stream art making or other things too (just chatting, playing games etc)?
Would love a video that digs into those kinds of questions
my favorite art tip has to be the 20/80 rule, where you fill the first 20% of your work with a boring ad and introduction and the other 80% with the actual topic. i know its a rude tone, but its my greatest pet peeve has to be endless intros. i can only hope that it was the advertisers fault this time around. i simply will never accept an ad from anyone and when it conflicts with my ability to receive free informational content, it feels like my brain is draining out of my ears.
ОтветитьWhat’s up with ur lip bro
ОтветитьConsidering nearly all of the advice videos I've seen about "how to grow on twitch" have been about games it's refreshing to finally find a channel that talks about the creatives for a change, i.e people who essentially create the games themselves.
ОтветитьI tried streaming for half a year and only was met with either silence or disrespect. Not everyone is so lucky to attract people who aren't completely awful. I gave up after those 6 months because it was detrimental to my mental health.
Ответитьbro thank q this was really inspirationaly
ОтветитьI strongly recommend using an ipad instead of a cintiq if you’re new tbh. With a cintiq you still have to buy a painting software- you can get something free like the beta version of paint tool sai, but most people want something photoshop-tier. You have to pay for photoshop monthly and it’s kinda pricey. If you’re just a hobbyist, I found procreate to be really really versatile and much better than paint tool sai, (much!) and you only gotta buy it once. Plus ipads are really portable!
ОтветитьAw congrats on the sponsorship! 🎉
ОтветитьI literally cried while watching this video D'X I've been a passionate artist since I was born and only now at 27 am finally deciding to ignore what everyone said, and pursue my passion. Thank you for the inspo, I just followed ^_^ I can't wait to become part of the artist community on Twitch!! <333
Ответитьi didnt realize i already follow you on instagram!! Love you work, and thanks for the advice! Hopefully will be able to pop into one of your streams~!
