You DON'T run from a black bear. Ever. First of all, you should have bear spray. Otherwise, get loud, yell, throw anything you can at a black bear, and fight for your life if one attacks you. Playing dead is not effective, and neither is climbing a tree. The bear will just see you as an easy meal. You have to convince a black bear that you're not prey- prey runs. Also, group up if other people are with you. It's recommended never to go into bear country alone. Grizzlies are usually trying to neutralize a perceived threat, not actually eat a human, and there's nothing you can do to stop a grizzly they're too strong. That's why you play dead with grizzly bears. But again, your first line of defense is bear spray.

If you're going to do these videos and how to possibly survive them, you need to give the right advice. You do not ever run from a bear, EVER, especially if you're not a few feet from a house or car. I know my research and park rangers even say it.. If it's Black (fight back). If it brown (lay down). If it's white (good night). If you encounter a polar bear fight back like hell, but it's bite force per square inch can bust a freaking bowling ball
