i don’t mean to be that guy i love what u guys r doing but in my opinion it would be a better option to have a bolt in cage just in case u even needed to remove it for whatever reason that may be like repainting the shell or whatever really

I would have slapped some paint on the roll cage before lifting it back into position. The tops of the bars are a bugger to get at otherwise.

At 9 minutes in what’s he putting on the plugs and what’s the significance to it. I’ve always just put plugs in the holes and left it there

I've been wanting a civic EK rally ever since I saw one back in 2003 at the Cog Rally in Hayden Colorado. It looked very similar to your build!! I now have an 04 WRX that I've been building. I really appreciate the tips on the roll cage build. Instead of removing the roof skin, which can be a huge pain, you drilled holes. Hmmm. I wonder if that would work on mine? Thanks again and keep up the good work!

From 93 to 203 horses is a huge jump. Crazy what you can do replacing a few components and a proper tune up. This was a great build to watch

One add: This Civic is no V-tec so throw any additives to oil and fuel but NEVER do that in the oil system in a V-Tec engine. It will hurt.

Back in 1979 I had a Datsun 180B from new. I rebored the motor to 2100cc, fitted a cross flow head, did up the cam and crank. Cut on SS headers, 2inch exhaust, Garret t4 turbo. Datsun 240k 5 speed manual transmission. Rear wheel disc brake kit and It put out 210hp at the rear wheels on the chassis dyno.

For me, it would make more sense (an be a heck of a lot cheaper both in money an time), to vinyl wrap a rally car. You don't worry about scratching paint, an can be re-applied. But that's just me, I guess.

Should have checked the bearings and gap the rings for boost. Then replace all the gaskets.
