I like them a lot, but unfortunately, there's something missing here. I don't think having a female vocalist helps either. Her voice is very weak and unappealing.

This song is the best thing (B)SP have done in years, IMHO. I felt they lost their way thorough the “video game soundtrack” times so far. But the. I do think dripping the B was far too “PC”, whether we agree with the sentiment or not. I come to watch entertainers to be entertained, to forget my problems and enjoy myself. Not to be brow beaten into supporting their politics, or not. I have enough politics in my “serious” life, as we all do.

This, then, is one major reason why so many “artists” lose such a large fraction of their audience over the years. As soon as they take an extreme political side, they lose (i think on average) nearly half their audience, and (definitely, from what I’ve seen) often their career income. High price to pay for thinking your voice should count so much more than any other. Because you’re an artist with an audience.

There’s a song or two in that, which I’m busy writing.

Just wanted to say thanks for this music. I hadn't listened to you guys in ages, used to love your first three albums. Got it in my head tonight to watch your video for Machineries of Joy (beautiful video) and discovered you had released a new album. This song is gorgeous and heartbreaking, as is the whole album. An elegy for our planet and our future.
