Why Do People Hate Discord Mods?

In my experience, a lot of Discord mods are rude and hateful for no reason. You can be the nicest person in the server and a discord mod will still find a way to beef with you.

The problem is that they have the authority to do anything they want. They can ban you just because they disagree with you. Or they don't like your pfp. Any reason.

I remember this one moment where i was in a server i like but then a “moderator” did not like me for some reason, like i never did anything at him or her.

F the moderates who live up to this meme not only ruin for other people but also ruin the reputation of other Moderators who are doing their job correctly and only ban people when the actually have good reasons to do so, unnlike this "my virgin warrior powers told me that your username offended me so i hade to ban you to protect the server and uphold the order with the power that admin almighty gave me"

And TWO of the mods timed me out for four hours and I DMed them why and they said “You deserved it” I swear these are the dumbest people I have ever met.

just a couple of days ago, on a french math server i was mocked for using another way of solving a problem and my names was changed to an insulting word. i dont know of this is because its in the nature of discord mods, the french people or both

I kinda don't understand why do some people hate discord mods. Yeah I know most of them are bad. But most of them are nice! I have a cousin who was a discord mod in a server before. And she littrealy saved a server from the OWNER of the server whose tracings arts- and now she own the discord server now since the owner of the server left.

Bc discord mods are usualy idiots that spend too much time on discord and abuse their position. I was once a tank dealer in a server(selling souls) and since i whent to vacation i put up 49 tank souls on auctions, at the ah price for them, but when it was abt day 4 a discord mod removed my tank dealing roles bc they were mad that i put up the souls under the server prices, he asked for me to remove them to keep my roles, altho i said i couldnt since i dont play games while on vacation, but he still did it. So yea generaly aholes with 0 to none care about the people, and 0 uderstanding.

that's because they make their own rules and then proceed to abuse their power and break their own rules. I've seen an admin called Dankus in a certain server called Lemomeme being an absolute shitstain to everyone he doesn't like, banning those who he hates most, usually minorities and shutting up any criticism with the banhammer

eveytime i see a person hate on discord mods i get so pissed and annoyed cuz i think that they want all discord mods gone which made me so annoyed because without discord mods then a discord server would collapse and the owner cant manage a whole entire server by his own but now i get it why people hate discord mods i get it some of them can abuse there power or even groom minors online but as a discord moderator myself i would never do such a thing

As the head mod of a server the problem I run into most frequently is promoting someone to mod and then they just stop existing except to roll up once a week and give their opinion on a problem that I'm already handling, they're usually cool people though
