The epidote was my favorite but I thought that they all look beautiful although I am pretty new to this I live in Michigan and I started paying attention to rocks around me where I live at actually found quite a few agates and also Jasper which I think is quite awesome but I have to get a Tumblr yet I plan on doing that this spring I'm so excited and can't wait to Tumble my rocks for the very first time I have learned quite a bit just watching your video thank you for sharing everything that you do I am also a new subscriber and I enjoy your videos a lot
ОтветитьI love them and and they look beautiful to me❤❤❤
ОтветитьEnjoyed your experiment.
Ответитьi like all of them i think they turned out great!
Ответитьokaaaay, okaaaaaay.... What prevents you from cleaning the rocks before starting the process. Just 1 rinse.
ОтветитьI want my driveway with tumbled gravel. Cost?
ОтветитьI think they turned out pretty good. I like the really shiny ones but some of the others look more natural (?).
Ответитьthe definition of dirt is pulverized rock. you put small rocks in there that were totally broken down during the process; so, you ended up with dirt (plus water = mud). great experiment. shows if you can make regular rocks look so nice, imagine how great gemstones will turn out. thanks, again!
ОтветитьI really love rocks! Ive been rockhounding ever since i can remember! I know SOME types of rocks beacuse of Ariel! I love these videos and i really like this channel! Keep going like this! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьLooks great! I would though them in my fish tank.
Ответитьtumbler nece saat firlanir?
ОтветитьElectric universe!
ОтветитьI love rocks! My hole life I have been collecting rocks. I have even brought home rocks from all countries I have visit during my around-the-world-trips! They are in boxes, every box has labels, telling exact location (and country) where I picked them.
EDIT spelling mistake!
You made nice polished beach rocks
ОтветитьTiny rocks make cute earrings and jewelry
ОтветитьThey are very sweet. I am thinking about where I can find a tumbler to buy...
ОтветитьThere ya go 😊.
Also all the other reasons 😉.
Great watching, I'm learning.
Been pounding the cascades from border down to cal. For 50 years and I wish now I'd been paying more attention to the shiny Rock's along the way.
There's a few things I think I need to look at again if I can get There's!🙂🙂
Running about 25 pounds of rollers in tumblers
More Rock's!!! Hahaha..You know!
Never coveted anything in my life until I looked into a polished agate and realized the significance of time and the ramifications of such.
A pleasure seeing you smile Mrs Ariel
I have a lot of rocks from teeny tiny to extremely large and I have moved them every time I moved. My Dad's car was bottoming out and sparks were flying out from the trunk being so loaded down and I had to make 3 trips to Orange County,Ca to get them to Palm Springs,Ca. 2 trips were only 5-7 rocks in the trunk of the car and I had to drive slow. It's hilarious that I didn't want to leave my rocks at my previous places I lived. People thought I was crazy for doing this but I love my rocks and yes they are special to me for one reason or another. And now I'm making a rock fencing around my yard stacking them up around 3-4 high for the dogs to stop peeing and pooping in my yard. I can't tumble the most of them cuz they're too big. But I wanted to know how big can these rocks be to tumble.??
ОтветитьI liked the colors
ОтветитьThank you for doing this. I was curious about this myself. I do think that the rocks came out cool!
Ответитьi like how the rocks look. i especially like the milk quartz.
ОтветитьI tried to tumble rocks in my clothes dryer....needless to say.....I need a new dyer.
ОтветитьIt seems like random rocks aren't the best use of time and resources but it was fun to see the results nonetheless.
Ответитьplease dont tumble me!1!1!
ОтветитьHi there!!! I loved this video! I am a mom of 3 very adventurous children. We are outside as much as possible, and they have always been rock collectors. When they were younger, it was just any random rocks, but now they will spend half a day searching for a handful of rocks that are only the color of fire, a thunder storm, shrek, our pets, and even things like Mac n cheese lol . The fact that they put so much time into these collections now, really makes it hard to just just gather them during laundry and put them in the garden. I really love how you made these simple stones so beautiful. That would have been helpful for us the last 10 years lol. However, I would love to know what rock tumbler you would recommend for beginners. Also do any fit a handful or 3 at a time since it takes more than a month? Or should I invest in multiple? I Googled one thing and it took me to a super boring video (not yours). I clicked next and got here. What a blessing! Very entertaining, interesting, educational, and inspiring. I'm subscribed now for sure and will be watching so many more videos as I try to make my kid's rock collection beautiful for a surprise this year! I'm sure you are busy but if you take the time to read this and offer your advice. I appreciate your help so much!
ОтветитьI love them all! I wanna start rock tumbling ❤
ОтветитьI would use those polished rocks in an aquarium
ОтветитьI have gems and minerals
ОтветитьIM OBSEST WITH CRYSTALS MY FAV IS PINK AMETHYST AND QUARTZ
ОтветитьI like them
ОтветитьWe tried to tumble rocks with a school group. Needless to say I was not super experienced and they turned out terrible. Never did it again. Those random rocks turned out pretty.
ОтветитьAs someone who has been collecting random rocks for the past 5+ years, this is extremely encouraging to me! I was gifted a tumbler last Christmas and I am only now researching to finally tumble my EXTENSIVE rock collection. It ranges from obsidian, agate, petrified wood, quartz, and many more random rocks I find in gravel pits and job sites. Thank you for this!! I got excited just seeing the end result seeing all the beautiful patterns, colors, and shapes of just some random rocks :D Edit: I would say the experiment is a success!
ОтветитьI'd love to know what kind of tumbler this is please?
ОтветитьI like rocks
ОтветитьI love doing rocks I find just to see what they actually look like. They're usually prettier than youd think
ОтветитьEnded up looking like a natural Mediterranean beach!
Ответитьi love quartz could i have one please ?
Ответитьhonestly really into how all of the stones turned out, I've been asking myself this question for so many years but never had a tumbler. Thank you!
ОтветитьTotal success
ОтветитьJust wondering, does the tumbler run 24/7 for a week?
ОтветитьI suppose your often trying to capture the magic of this video in terms of views. I suspect it was successful because it got suggested to non rock collectors. In the chrome acting industry there is a test where pebbles are thrown at chrome plated auto parts to see how well it stands up. The thing is we have to buy the gravel its standardized. Perhaps you can buy such gravel & do an interesting title & thumb. Something lime how does standardized tumble.
ОтветитьI tumble quartz from the mountains sometimes. I just mix it with some water, limestone and charcoal to act as lubricants, and they will polish against each other in just 3 days on the tumbler, nothing else added, they ain't super shiny but i didn't have to buy anything, just local materials from Cantabria.
Ответитьcool for aquarium gravel
ОтветитьWhat brand of tumbler do you use? I’d like to buy one but have no clue what to buy
ОтветитьThe first thing I learned here was:
Give random rocks a pre-wash to get rid of at least some of the dirt.
The second lesson I learned was:
As someone who lives on dirt roads and near a river, I should have a rock tumbler on my Christmas/birthday list.
Next tumble crack rocks
ОтветитьIk ben net begonnen met trommelen .
Ooit geode getrommeld?❤
I just got my first rock tumbler! Any tips you could give me? I want to also make jewelry with the stones that come out.
ОтветитьHello,
Those are not random rocks. If they are roadbed gravel or landscape gravel, whatever commercially available gravel, they are from a quarry. meaning they are all the same rock. If you want random rocks, you should go to a riverbed or a beach when random rocks collect naturally. There you will find rocks that are for sure hard enough to tumble and are a mixture of different rocks in that source. those rocks being hard enough to withstand the natural tumbling should all polish well.
