I hope our European friends appreciate the European posting time of this video :P BTW, we ordered a Facom 2 months ago and it's still not here
ОтветитьHello. Please can you test FACOM brand as well? Thanks
ОтветитьNot sure I am buying the results
ОтветитьOh shh, the dick is broken
ОтветитьWera jokers are appropriately named if you want to damage the heads of the bolts of everything you touch you should definitely get these. Had to get a husky replacement set because I kept damaging fasteners.
ОтветитьGedore 4 life
Ответитьtest FACOM
ОтветитьDude you Americans are nothing but abroad Europeans, this was all just testing European wrenches.
ОтветитьDarn he didn’t do wright wrenches! That’s what I’m thinking of getting
ОтветитьAs a European friend (from the UK) I've never even heard of most of the European brands (including King Dick which seems more like a novelty toy rather then an actual useful tool), I use mostly Mac Tools along with some Facom items, some Expert items(not great but lifetime guarantee), some Draper items, some Snap-on items and what's left of my Gearwrench items from my training days (Marketed as Signet but also used for Halfords Professional tools), I have a couple sets of Mac anti-slip spanner sets but they differ in design to this one, head design looks the same but mine have the RBRT shank design oddly, I know Mac Tools in the UK still sell my design and have done for the last 8 or so years now from memory, I've used the Wera brand whilst doing some side work for a UK F4/GB3 race team, nice feeling tools but I did feel the open end wanting to slip in some situations I couldn't use the ring end, not something I would invest in personally for my daily work use
ОтветитьGreat to see Proto do so well. They're not inexpensive, but they're also not rake you over the coals Mac or Snap-On expensive. My goto for American-made tools these days, at least for the important lifetime tools.
ОтветитьThere is a tool company here in Germany that is called Stahlwille. But don't know a Stah Wille....maybe a fake?!
ОтветитьWith a name like king dick u deserve to fail imagine going in to a store and asking the salesman is there any chance I can look at the king dicks !
ОтветитьBahco used to be great, I guess it was back in the day when they used swedish steel. Now I don't know, I guess they are made in Spain or China.
ОтветитьCan you add Halfords and Milwaukee and dewalt and Bosch wrenches to your list please i think British would appreciate that I would be intrigued by that .
ОтветитьBeen buying tools for 40yrs the king dicks in my tool box are the oldest and most used. Oddly though sometimes the cheapest items you have are the most useful
ОтветитьSeems like the PSI rating is also a measurement of inch pounds for torque. Or am I imagining that?
ОтветитьKing Dick refers to King Richard but as you are not allowed to use names of Royalty for advertising products they went for his nickname.
ОтветитьBritish wrench breaking brand new 😂😂😂
ОтветитьTap it wrenches are designed to be used with a hammer from my understanding. Work great for unfastenining stuck bolts I guess.
ОтветитьWhere i live is tool brand narex and its almost exclusive to central europe. Narex looks like festool but it has different tools.
ОтветитьI had a set of knuckle savers I got for free and they’re easily the worst wrenches I’ve ever used. The beams are incredibly thin and they’re very squared off so they hurt your hands to use them. I went to tighten up a driveshaft bolt with one and bent the beam in the direction you push on it which I’ve never had a wrench do. And I had a nut stuck in the closed end of one and I used a chisel to knock it out and it snapped the wrench in half.
ОтветитьHi you must test Unijor tools from Zreče slo
ОтветитьLove this video, it’s content should be transcribed and put into the Library of Congress. My go to now working on heavy equipment is the Williams in Black Oxide. Just love them all around. My Wrightgrip 2.0 set is always at the ready as are my Proto ASDs. You can not have too many wrenches
Ответитьİzeltaş ve ceta form 🇹🇷
Ответитьgood test but don't forget to test the warranty on the brands, here in DK Bahco has lifetime warranty, don't know about the other brands
ОтветитьAt a maintenance job I worked at a while back, our tools and everything we could ever want/need was provided. The company gave us all brand new proto tool boxes completely stocked full of proto tools along with full sets of double end before wrenches, before no. 7’s and the 90° box end wrenches. I loved those gedore wrenches so much I went out and bought a full set for my home setup. The fit and finish is second to none. My only gripe, is they are rather thin in the handle, and to remedy that I would recommend the hazet 600N series of wrenches. Better than snap on in my opinion.
Ответитьbahco makes garbage axes...
ОтветитьThe problem is that you have tested only few european items.
What about Facom SAM , Kraftwerk , etc ... ?
I am British never heard off king dick or seen any off there products , I got a feeling that is a name for the US market
ОтветитьI really don't believe that stahlwille wrench slips, that is just not Stahlwille,Stahlwille should be on the top.
Ответитьa spanner is an entirely different tool... stop calling end wrenches, spanners... theyre not spanners... google "spanner wrench" its a hook looking thing made to reach around the back and hook onto oversized splined fasteners... like adjusting spring preload in suspension components and such...
ОтветитьVery thorough and teaching test.I´d never like Wera wrenches. This test confirm my hunch.I did miss Facom as european high quality tools brand.
ОтветитьKing Dick, British wrench, like Britian broken Britian!
ОтветитьPersonally i like the wgb tools from Germany, good quality and price for personal use
ОтветитьWould love to see some old stock Britool made upto the 1980's tested. Britool were the UK's premium brand in the day, had preference over Snap On for heavier engineering by many. The King Dick test here is very disappointing, I wonder if they are still UK made or just stamped 'england'.
ОтветитьI have some old Swedish made Bacho tools and they last forever, nowadays the quality is not the same.
I believe bacho invented the adjustable wrench…
Which model won the test,please?
ОтветитьThe Name is StahLwille... a combination of the german word for steel = Stahl and the founder Eduard Wille..😊
ОтветитьIs there a reason why the American models are used consequently differently then all others? The mouth opening is oriented differently.
ОтветитьThe king dick is hard.
ОтветитьTesting european wrenches and eluding Facom spanners is quite amazing from my Frenchman's standpoint...
Very interesting video hawever.
I have tons of wrenches, i never need that much torque, the most interesting to me here was the different design of the Wera. Those might come in handy.
ОтветитьI don’t care what you say that thinner stream line wrenches are way more useful. More times than not I find myself working in a tight areas anyway. In this case bigger doesn’t always mean better. I have a set of proto and I never use them because of that reason.
Stahwille is the best wrench out there period and I’ve used them all. Mostly all German tools are better than there American counterparts. And I’m an American with no German heritage. Lol.
Mactools is rlly expensive 😱
