Are you sure Michael Lofton (and Dave Gordon) “militantly supports the Novus Ordo over the TLM”? As far as I’ve seen, he appreciates both the NO and the TLM, he himself is Byzantine, so he recognizes certain liturgies appeal to different people, however he has focused some of his work on defending the NO from militant attacks by certain trads who think it doesn’t give grace in the sacrament, or that it’s sacrilege, or that all who go there are against tradition. Perhaps he sees a pattern with those who go to TLM and those who have antagonistic thoughts about the NO, Vat2 and Pope Francis, and so his defense of NO is what makes you think he’s supposedly against TLM itself. You HAVE to know that he is just as offended by NO liturgical abuses as you are.

I am a Protestant enjoyed viewing and listening to Michael Voris on Church Militant. I will continue following Church Militant and if Michael if he shows himself. I will also be praying for everyone involved and I know God is in control and will resolve this matter correctly.

Yes CM helped me as a young mother. I knew there was more to Catholicism than the watered down religion I had been raised on or it would have not lasted 2,000 years. I could watch a Vortex or two while the kids napped and that is what started me on the road to discover the TLM and the rich history of Church traditions that have been forgotten or depressed.

Funny how everything was fair game as Voris raked others over the coals, but then we are asked to respect hia privacy.

This is a rather broad letter and doesn't say anything other than accuse Michael Voris of something that led to this matter; resignation-firing, what is the difference? I am not surprised this has happened because the Catholic Church is being led by people who support Satan's views; Michael Voris is not one of those individuals and I will never watch Church Militant again (I have cancelled my subscription), not because of Church Militant (because Michael Voris is/was Church Militant), no I'm no longer supporting this group because of the underhanded way they delivered this message with a lot of speculation, leading on statements that prompt readers to induce an idea or opinion in a way that encourages the reader to agree with their actions which seems to be based on unreliable facts (otherwise they would provide the real reason as to why this action came about).

Furthermore making comments such as we asked him to resign because he broke the morality clause (why not provide the Morality Clause, especially in lieu of such a slanderous statement), then speak about his health issues (which is just another way of slandering a person further); and, lastly, if your aim is to save souls then why toss Voris' soul in the scrap pile (therefore that claim is also false and I would never trust anyone who claims to save souls but conveniently tosses this or any soul away) YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!

Basically this letter tends to lead the viewer to questionable assumptions and biases which is a form of coercion and/or manipulation on the part of the organization in order to keep subscribers/viewers/readers/supporters in the Church Militant's pocket; and, VERY unethical in this day and age.

this is the problem with "militant Christianity" yes, whatever he did-and they never said-we should definitely pray for him but why is it that the conservative Catholics are full of mercy and forgiveness for one of their own who falls from grace and are so polite and discrete about his sin but if anyone of the world or even of the church who opposes some aspect of 'conservative Catholicism" falls the soldiers of "traditionalism" are full of venom that they spew freely as though God wants that? Matthew 5:46-47 says basically that we are to speak God's blessing over everyone, our "brothers" and the "strangers". The way of the saints brought people to Christ through humility and patient living of the gospel, not through a virile militant roasting of those outside of the faith or those Christians we disagree with. We are supposed to pray to God when we want to condemn someone (not just their beliefs) because those feelings don't come from God but from the evil one. This guy spoke great evil against the pope, many bishops and most of the Catholics following the tradition of the church. Tradition is what is passed down, not a static box of memories we cling to. Adherence to a tradition just because it is a tradition-and not even necessarily old-is idolatry. God bless Michael and all of us as we worl out our salvation in fear and trembling as St. Paul said.

Michael Voris was an honest and good Catholic .He admitted he was Homosexual and we all have problems in our life .Micheal Voris for me was so strong in his faith that is what I admired .I would not be surprised if he was set up because certain Catholic Hierarchy really hated him and his Catholic teaching .I heard he was very annoying with people he worked with and this can happen when you fall into sin .I would love for him to come back to the Faith and his Church .
