yeah yeah just keep trying to convince me there's not a little alien in the record player singing the song.
ОтветитьWatching this while I wait for my new Dying Fetus vinyl to arrive in mail
ОтветитьShame quality control is garbage, ive had some really bad pressings over here in the UK,always clean my new records, they come covered in crap
ОтветитьJust got my first record player today and 3 Perry Como vinyls, in love with this new hobby
Ответитьhow do they mass production this? If it takes 2 hours to make one?
ОтветитьShame vinyl records have doubled in price in the last couple of years
ОтветитьHow can I be hired packing vinyls in sleeves ... for me is therapy and art !!!
ОтветитьAt this pace very soon we will use crank telephones asking the operator to connect with some number.
ОтветитьLove this ❤
ОтветитьI have alot of Waverly 45 rpms 7 inch
ОтветитьCould’ve done without the pseudoscientific woo at the end.
ОтветитьThe sound when stylus lands on records is one of the best feeling
ОтветитьWent to their store on Nashville.. Store was beautiful unfortunately didn't carry any of my genres of music. If you're into indie rock you will be in heaven.
ОтветитьCD sound quality is amazing! 👌
Vinyl sound quality is pops and crackles a bit like a certain cereal 😆
resin discs would be a cheaper process
ОтветитьFirst time I ever saw the process it is so cool. Thank you for making a video.
ОтветитьMost unfortunate that Vinyl records production was stopped in India in 90's.
Ответитьworth to say, they use an old way of pressing - with lacquer cut. In mid 80s DMM was invented - Direct Metal Mastering - without a lacquer cut step, so it makes a whole process cheaper and gives a better sound quality
ОтветитьI wanna know where the "make it defective" part comes into play since 4 out of every 10 LP's I buy "New" have to go back defective. Some multiple times. You know, some new stylus replacements are expensive
ОтветитьSo they clean the silver nitrate disc with WD40and a cloth ?
Cheers
excellent video, but what i dont understand is why are so many of todays releases, (especially coloured, or splatter vinyls)...warped or sound terrible ?, ....todays vinyl is shocking !, overpriced and cheaply made and packaged !
ОтветитьHaving Warren Defever (His Name is Alive) as the mastering guru is the best career decision Jack has ever made.
ОтветитьI feel like some artists must not put a lot of time into testing their vinyl pressings lately... some have been not up to snuff! (fascinating video btw love it!)
ОтветитьI remember in the eighties vinyl was a huge threat to CD because in those days CD was still a inferior product to vinyl so to make sure you bought the super expensive and inferior sounding CDs the record companies just started producing low qaulity vinyl, so companies won at that game until people realised you could copy the CD to the qaulity of the original no Nakamichi was needed anymore to produce a first rate recording ..
Ответитьhow much do the audio quality guys get paid. sounds like a dream job
ОтветитьJust love how vinyl is made
ОтветитьVinyl is such a cool format. I'm super interested in all things analog and learning about how all this stuff is made and how they were is so interesting
ОтветитьThis is so cool!!
ОтветитьUnbelievable that there was a huge industry working this way!😮😮😮
ОтветитьCDs are so much cooler
ОтветитьI’d keep your initials, they’re badass
Ответитьplease dont let this industry die
ОтветитьSomeone came up with this…..where I can barely use my phone. Crazy.
ОтветитьSO AMAZING!!!
ОтветитьIts so interesting on how vinyls are made. I love vinyls so much. The sound is just incredible and I love it. I'm glad to be able to get them :)
ОтветитьMp3 is the best
ОтветитьLike an analogue photography often the imperfectness are the new perfectness. Old record with not smooth sound often made it awesome
ОтветитьStill doesn't makes sense how anyone ever thought of this process to the point it makes a sound. This is amazing but the thought this works and makes sense is crazy
ОтветитьThey stop making them in the 1980's they should made them again tbh but I understand it takes 3 hours for 1 record that's why their expensive but I don’t know how do you misprint 3 hours of a vinyl like Melanie Martinez vinyl has Melanie Martinez on one side and fall out boys on the other side
ОтветитьCame here because of the misprint of Melanie Martinez 's bloodshot vinyl has falls out boys
ОтветитьVinyl is the real deal. Thank you for this. And It's W.O.W. !!!
ОтветитьJust send the mp3 through email 😂it’s a neat process tho
ОтветитьNICE OLD REC......... G
ОтветитьNothing is better than the record stores and lp records of all your favorite artists.. tower records and licorice pizza record stores were the best ! Hated to see them go. Glad somebody's on it again.
Everybody, I mean EVERYBODY including your grandma collected records.
Did someone really send the Walmart exclusive for Metallica’s Garage Inc to audio quality control check?
ОтветитьI may romanticize it but i love how it is still an handmade craft which in my experience is so much more personal when i put a record on.
ОтветитьThis process is pure magic. I just wish there was better quality control these days
ОтветитьWhy coloured vinyl don’t sound good like black once???
ОтветитьVinyl=Toxic PVC 👍
