Raft meets Rust? Lost World First Look

Hey all! The consensus seems to be that this game looks a lot like Raft 😂

It's up to you If you want to play this. Personally, I had a ton of fun playing this game and making this video, probably more than any other video in the past month or two.

It's nice for me to get outside of my traditional type of videos and try new things. It was refreshing and I will be doing more and more content outside of 7 Days to Die in the future with an emphasis on new and lesser-known titles.

Hey, I've been following your videos for a bit now. I'm a new 7 days to die player. This game does look a lot like Raft. I adored raft.. man I played the crap outta that game. My only complaint with Raft is that as far as I know they are done developing it. They have no plans on expanding on it, so once you've completed the game it's kinda boring. I would love for a game like this to expand on the game, maybe give us more things to do and explore end-game. Just out of curiosity have you tried playing Medieval Dynasty? It's actually a very fun survival game too!

Just a heads up, Feb '23 they set the game to Released and disappeared.

Controller support? Because I hear Raft doesn't have that.

There's no option to make a fishing rod in my game..

Feels like a not so polished Raft ripoff, (hotboxes are very small and wonky) but maybe it's worth it?

I cant deny the skill but at the end of the day its still a copy
Id encourage the devs to try out their own creative ideas as they seem capable enough in creating something

This obvious Raft rip-off have OK graphics, but else lacks a lot, do not see much originality. Can always hope in some years it have evolved.

I've been watching some game play of this on other channels. I want to change my vote. Initially it looks like high def raft, but the game play is different. I vote for looking at this game again. In fact, I am downloading it now.

I don't think it is prettier than raft. It's got quite ugly animations and UI. Sure the textures are prettier, but the whole of the game, which includes the animations, look like hot garbage to the point I'm not even going to look at the store page.

My opinion is that a game is good when it is considerably more fun or engaging than not, and if there are other games like it, that is better because that means there are more fun games to play. So I'm confused why fans of raft would be ANGRY that a similar game is being developed. It doesn't steal or take away from Raft, which is already a well known and popular game. And it's not like this game is gonna make Raft go away. It's just another game, like Raft. It looks good and it looks like they worked really hard on it. I definitely think suing would be an overreaction fueled by ego, because ones greedy mindset couldn't handle that their idea was used in another game. Personally if it were my game though, that were being copied.. I'd probably take it as an ego boost. Like damn my game is so good everyone wants to make a game like it.. that's king of the hill status, Doom has been copied and copied but remains the og and everyone knows it is. Everyone knows Raft is the OG, so I think it's totally fine for other developers to try their crack on the formula, sink or swim.
