SteelSeries Nova Pro Wireless vs SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

Hey just a heads up..the ear cushions are removable..steel series actually has a video on their channel on how to remove and put back..should be seeing some third party cushions pop up soon.

I just bought the SteelSeries Arctis pro wireless for PS5 gaming. I got them for $199 compared to $314 for Nova Pro wireless. Are the Arctis pros capable of using sonar on the gg app? Also will that download into the transmitter base?

SteelSeries Arctis 9 has a feature where when you turn off your headphones it will automatically route the audio to your speakers, if they are connected to the same dongle as the headphones. Does anyone know if either of the ones mentioned in the video has such a feature? And is there any difference between Arctis Pro and Arctis Nova Pro in terms of sound quality for listening to music?

Im not sold on the plastic band and leather ear muffs but they do look really nice. Perhaps ill save me 300 and stick with the 7 pros

I got really good deal on Pro wireless, got them for 80€ delivered, Very happy with the purchase, just the ability alone to be connected to phone pc and ps5 at the same time is life changing, i can play ps5 while watching video on one of my pc monitors and then be connected to the phone in the same time, i never knew im gonna need it till i got it.

I'd totally want to go wireless once and for all, but I'm very sensible to audio lag.. Should I go with the wired version or are these wireless ones actually lag-free ?
If so which one of the two (Arctis Pro vs Artcis Nova Pro) is the most lag-free ?

I have Arctis Pro Wireless and the plastic on both left and right near the joint are cracked, I wanted to upgrade to Nova Pro Wireless but the fact that I couldn't change the earcup turns me off. Any recommendation for 100% uptime headset similar to both of this? And how good is the inbuild Nova Pro Wireless earcup?

If you have the Arctis pro wireless and don’t have any issues then it’s not worth the upgrade. The soundstage and imaging is good and slightly better on novas but not a noticeable difference. Arctis pro wireless can also use the sonar engine and take advantage of EQ custom settings as the nova pros. Unless the you’re in need of it then for sure go for the nova pro wireless or Maxwell

I still have my Siberia 800s/ The plastic started breaking and becoming brittle at the swivel part of the headphones, but with a little bit of super glue and baking soda, they are good as new.

I just don't understand some of the weird/bad design changes they've made to the headset and the game deck

I can buy a brand new pair of the arctis pro wireless for 180 and its tempting but for that price is it worth it over the nova pros or not? personally im not bothered if the novas are better but its a big price difference i have found

im not rich person but i try to buy this headset.. idk why the sound in music same like my g pro x wired. i dont have problem with anc thing tho so my ears is so comfort using this headset

I don't get the design change. You can recognize any of the Arctis headset at a glance, they felt unique. With the new design, you will have to look for the logo. Why did they have to make them so different?

Do the Novas hiss like the pros? You hear this when nothing is playing on the non bluetooth 2ghz channel.

The nova sounds a lot more that it is worth the price.
I have to say the Arctis pro wasn't worth the price, i had a tuurtlebeach elite 800 back in the days, for ps, that offered more.
Is the Nova connection stable?
With the arctis pro i had disconnects from time to time, then needed to tuurn it of by holding, felt like 5 seconds, then wait some till i could turn it back on. Or it just said "disconnected" and some seconds later it connected again.
Also they said it has Background noise limiting (microphone), but in the end it hadn't (misleading advertisement), without the discord options it was a disaster (noticed it in Teamspeak).
The software options, before/without sonar, are terrible for the age we are in.
After a short time the Batteries get losened contact.
I loved the system overall it is a good design, souund etc., but as a perfectionist it was lacking too muuch for the price.

Ps. I am too tired to remove all the douuble letters, caused by my Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro 🤣practically new, heard it is a common problem

My only issue with Steelseries is the build quality. I have an Arctis Pro Wireless and the plastic part of the left speaker got cracked in less than a year of usage. The Nova Pro wireless build quality looks the same, which is one of the reasons I might avoid it.

ANC won’t filter out people talking? That’s the only reason I want noise canceling is so I can actually get work done without hearing my kids, etc, in the other room.

I’m in dilemma of choosing Nova 7P vs Arctics 7P+ because of the look. The 7P+ looks more like a new model and more premium compared to the Nova….

Do you feel that the Nova pro is not as clear as the Arctis Pros? Am i doing something wrong as my Nova sounds more bass and low compared to my Arctis Pro's sound more crisp and clear. Is there a setting to fix this?

The lack of a port for an optical cable is disappointing. I have my TV output connected through optical so that when not using it with anything else like PC or PS5, it just catches the audio of whatever is on the TV. Was strongly considering upgrade but now going to have to maybe rethink it.

What is the best headset for hearing foot steps on a console headset? I’m currently testing the nova pro wireless and the P38x wired from Sennheiser. The p38x might be better in footsteps but it’s tough to tell. If you have any recommendations on this I would appreciate it.

So the Microphone is good but STILL sounds like any other bluetooth headset that is capped by the bluetooth connection. Even Beyerdynamic couldn't do it.
The only company to get it right was Astro with its 2 Bluetooth receivers - but terrible Battery Life and overall not a good build headset.
I dont see the need to upgrade from a arctis wireless pro.

Can you connect the Nova Pro to two computers, let's say a Macbook and a Windows PC, and switch them using the base station? And extending my question, is it able to do that dual connectivity to connect both of them at once? My use case is basically Macbook for meetings only, and windows for media

So I found that the earpads are actually removable although it requires quite a bit of force (almost feels like you’re breaking them) and you have to start from the bottom up. They snap right in the same way Was looking for a reset button since I thought I had broken them since I was hearing no sound for a bit (false alarm)

Nice video, the mic is compatible both consoles? Xbox and ps5? Or its necessary buy a correct version witch one
