Are you completely sure that your videos weren't playing anyway? I have installed the extension as you demonstrate, but it's made no difference, just audio when trying to play .mp4 videos downloaded from Google Photos on Windows 10. They play fine on a Mac, but not on Windows 10.

Have a file in avi format . Exported from after effects 2018 . The media player had the same problem with audio only thing but vlc played the video for sometime and it got freeze and it loaded for sometime and this happened through out the vid . Any suggestions?
