To anyone who doesn't read descriptions...READ THE DESCRIPTION! There are a bunch of useful links there. Thanks so much Soyaa, this is great!
Ответитьnow I can make Character Rivals Of Aether for myself thx :D
ОтветитьWHAT?? Where is Separate HSVA in my blender!
ОтветитьAs purely a programmer, I'm very fascinated by the exploitation of these tools and techniques to create very compelling pixel art. That's so amazing, great work.
Ответитьhow tf do people think of this lol
Ответить"Pixelization" was pretty spot on and I'm American. Slow maybe but I'm a fast talker, and it matched your speaking pace pretty well so. also 2 years late :)
ОтветитьPls. Do a video for the new version.
ОтветитьIs there a way to do this on mobile? It would help me with more detailed sprites.
Ответитьis there are download to the pixel
ОтветитьMy outlines aren't showing up for some reason, I did everything as per the video.
ОтветитьIm learning Blender right now and dang...it can really do it all.
Ответитьhello, how did u get the bsdf toon shader effect on cycles, i tried and it can only work in eevee
ОтветитьIt’s like SpongeBob drawing a circle 😂 good stuff man!
ОтветитьI really like this approach because it allows for quickly getting the base shape and animation but also fine tuning and customizing in aseprite so it kinda has a more artistic look and polish ❤
ОтветитьWow, this looks really fun to play around with!
Ответитьi tried render and it's way much longer than yours
is it cause of avatar's complexity
I can see how this can be useful to speed up sprite animation, especially if you're more of a 3d artist than a 2d artist.. however, I think the best use of this type of technique would be to pixelate the game's graphics in real time, so that the faux-sprites could take advantage of 3d lighting systems.. that would be the ultimate blend of 3d space and 2d aesthetic.
ОтветитьHUGE THANKS ,I coudnt make this outlines since for ever , my response to this problem was just rendering workbench with proper settings (and outline), and then rendering same in cycles and blending in hitfilmexpress .But what i have learned from that video will help me optymalise render time , and the resault will be better .
Ответитьdude, your character design is amazing, where did you come up with that, I could watch a 20 vid series on your process.
ОтветитьTHIS IS AMAZING. I needed a video like this FR
ОтветитьNow write a blender script for it so we can just download it
ОтветитьThat Hair style Kingdom hearts Fan as well
Ответитьimagine this in upbge in real time with all perspectives possibilites available
ОтветитьGba be like
Ответитьthe way to rotate camera is genius man.
ОтветитьIt's weirding me out that the body of your character is like 3 times the size it would traditionally be, and that there are such details on the clothing and hands and limbs etc, but that the eyes are just upside-down L's
ОтветитьJust found this tutorial, its great! Now that Blender 3.6 is out, is this procedure the same or have things changed to make this even easier/faster? Also, I didn't hear you mention moving the composite node to connect to the image output of the final combine HSV node.
ОтветитьIs this how Dead Cells was done? I was looking forward to this technique, THANKS
ОтветитьWish it was 20y ago :D I paint all RPG maker stuffs, characters, etc, in old MS painter :D
ОтветитьLooks neat although it still doesn't really hide the pre-rendered look, making it feel more like mid-90s PC games with pre-rendered graphics like Dark Forces, Ultima and Fallout rather than a typical 2d drawn sprite like you'd see in a GBA or SNES game. It needs an even further restrictive palette, in 2d sprites, each element had 2 or 3 shades, here each element seems to have 5 or 6 shades instead
ОтветитьWhat i didn't like about this tutorial: There where only explanations for what to change and do, but no explanations what that exactly does.
ОтветитьJust reduce the resolution
ОтветитьAmazing video mate, great content as well ! Subbed !
Ответитьi can't believe that some technologies are developing in not a retarded way
do you think we'll see more of tools that emphasise imagination and human input/output in the future?
So this is Rotoscoping?
Ответитьmy boy applying the spongebob technique for drawing a circle
ОтветитьGreat tutorial!
Ответитьis it work in 3.5?
Ответитьthis helps out very much for 3d and 2d animation
ОтветитьIt's kind of hilarious how we have all this amazing technology now and we're actively trying to make things look pixelated lol. What's next, tutorials on how to desaturate textures so they are black and white :P
ОтветитьMy rendered file do not include anything done in compositing tab, just a model look from before making all the nodes in it. Viewer show the proper look inside the compositing tab, but not on render filed. What do I do?
ОтветитьRly well done video. It gave me a lot of knowledge and it was also fun to watch. Well done!
Ответить:o
ОтветитьThis could be a huge potential time safer for solo dev hi pixel projects where you need a lot of animations (like an intricate action platformer with 3rd person action combat and metroid style upgrade systems... Whiiiiich I happen to be building atm.)
ОтветитьMy mind has been blown, this is simply amazing. Big thanks for sharing this forbidden knowledge :)
ОтветитьCan u make a beginner tutorial from scratch to make a low poly character then rigging etc & then finally to pixel art pls
Ответитьthats great man! tks!
Ответитьreally nice work bro... thanks
