The Tower of London just feels like it’s part of the surrounding architecture.

I was once looking for it once, since I was going to have a tour around it, and it was right next to me and I didn’t notice. 😂

You’d think I’d be able to spot a large tower grounds, but NO!

I am staying near Soho/Chelsea area but now I am wondering if it’s the area I want to stay in as a tourist? I want to tour but also want to experience a non tourist local’s experience. Help! 😂

HMmm 18 years is not a local, 18 yrs does not make a Londoner! Speaking as a foreigner having lived in the same area for and English looking person with English heritage back to pre1700 in Oxford for 55 years, privately educated so well spoken to an average degree. I am rejected as a locale! Fair Well!

Excellent! A lot of information to process. I will visit London starting May 1st. I am a classic music and ballet lover, so that I already booked 5 performances at the Royal Opera House and one at the Royal Albert Hall. I will also visit the National Gallery. Your video is very helpful and inspiring to complete the planning.

Super excited watching this video I’m going to london for a 5 day 4 night trip in august and I’m so excited its my first time in london and my first time going to england I’m currently watching lots of videos to get more information on where i should go I’ve already got some things planned out but i definitely love these types of videos as they help so much with planning :) thank you for this absolutely amazing video

Same thing goes for most of us who live in the cities that are visited by tourists. Having lived in NYC most of my life I never visited the WTC Towers or its replacement. I didn't get to the Statue of Liberty until I took my sons. Never have been to the Empire State or Chrysler buildings. We take these sites for granted as a resident. We have 4 days visiting London in October and will make the most of it. Thanks for the enlightening tour.

Shocked that you didn't show or mention the National Maritime Museum, The Royal Naval College and the Painted Hall at Greenwich, very strange omissions. If people are going to travel to Greenwich then they should make sure they visit everything there, which is a lot! Good shout recommending the Clipper though, great way to travel.
