Sex a need like thirst and hunger? Yes, the children, elderly, are in need of sex. Rubbish from a man of delusion who is a jewish woman in the pomergranate garden. Some of this I believe is relevant but I KNOW as a 39 year old introverted woman that sex is not as "needed" as water... Not all of us relate to this understanding of libido. Yes, I am a sexual being but it isn't a must... Ask a nun!

The very notion of personality as a fixed psychic structure of being denotes essentialism.
Whereas existentialism, which suggests we are born first and then derive meaning, denotes personality as a consequence of experience and choice, making it more akin to habit than destiny.

I am so glad to see that more people look within themselves to discover what was truly there to begin with, instead of looking outwards for the perceived quick fixes. You are already whole. Never forget that. - ENFP-A, Enneagram 4w5, Libra, Num 22, Earth Dragon.

@Eternalised all the classification is pointless as each keep changing. 1 becomes an introvert or extrovert at different stages of life.
And perception with sense and intution happens at once its not 2 seperate process
Thinking and feeling too happened at once most cannot distinguish 1 from another.
So the whole formula of holding the primary and use the axulary as bridge to reach the secondary to get glimps of subconcious is pointless.
Is this process practically applied??? What is the method called? and what is it used for?

Would be interesting to know how you came up with your name. I love it. It resonates but I guess that's what sparks the curiosity of what the true story behind it might be

omg! even jung's example of intro/extroversion is at odds with his descriptions. i can't be the only one to notice that in over 100 years. do you people just believe anything attached to a name?

um, hysteria? gtfo! ain't no such thing. that's just something made up by sexist doctors. even hysterical personality disorder is changing its name and/or being phased out as a diagnosis, and that's way more real than just "hysteria"

while sometimes observational, jung's methods lack rigor, and the categories of introvert/extrovert seem rather arbitrary

This lead us to interesting personality battle Who would likely dominate and control the other since introverts recently started to get free from the inferiority complex driven by the extroverts domination for many decades and labeling themselves as the normal personality type, the human psychology will be witness a major shift if we start to investigate the labeled normal personality and its relation to mental illnesses

There are different types of extroverts and introverts, 16 personality types. Research Myers Briggs and find your specific type of extrovert or introvert. One is not better than the other, they just are….knowing your type will help you understand yourself.

I guess I just want somewhere to share my story.

When I was 19 I took shrooms, and it was like I was turned inside out. As a child, I was very extroverted and loved being around people. And after the shrooms, I felt disconnected from everyone and everything around me. I just wanted to alone. I am learning to feel happiness from within myself, not running from myself. It's been a LONG and PAINFUL process but once it's healed, it's healed and beautiful.

Love the description of the search for counterbalance, and initial charm with an opposite dispositon in a romantic partner, only to find that very characteristic to be a massive impediment to communication, and lift off from the easy and well lubricated runways of initial fuck crazes, super difficult.... The description of other people as being more like symbols for introverted thinking types, is kinda fucking uncanny in how well it describes the way i see some people - older people usually....not so certain im on board with everything though; it is intuitive to say that people that are a little more socially reticent tend to be more contemplative however, introversion is described as almost being synonymous with forethought and consideration. This doesnt seem to square with the Big 5 which, places Agreeableness, and Openess as seperate dimensions. I dont know if, high scorers on Openess tend to be more commonly Introverted; but, they theoretically would vary independently, to some degree atleast.....hope someone can tell if high socrers in Openess tend to be more often than not, Introverted.

Jung was an INFJ with a very well developed Ti (introverted thinking). Throughout his life, he had suppressed his Fe (extroverted feeling) and Ni (introverted intuition), for the fear of not be taken seriously as a scientist. It was only during his later years that he had let his Ni a free rein, not being afraid any longer of how he would be viewed by the scientific community. All his esoteric insights, and the capability of merging science with mysticism, were derived from his Ni. INTJs and INFJs have always made the greatest mystics.

So... are you an INTJ or an INTP? Your way of summarizing all these fascinating and complex subjects in such a sufficient and succinct way, suggests you are an INTJ. But there's something else about you that makes me think you're an INTP...

Either way, your videos are a real pleasure to watch.

As a male, that day I found out I was an INFJ, was a life changing moment for me. I had been a sales rep, desperate to live an Extroverted existence and when my whole life fell apart at 24, I went in search for answers. I am now almost 34, have made music my profession, and have been blessed with an amazing life this past decade. The more I've lent in my trait preferences, the closer I feel to my authentic self and feel like I'm home.

I scored INTJ A, but I feel I can be extroverted also. I never conform to the labels, I take them and become my best. I like my alone time for contemplation, and I like my social life for its feeling, genuineness. I think anyone can be anyone as long as they try to be. Peace, wealth, and health to all.

I express my gratitude for the publishing this and similar videos to the society, they are very helpful for the broad auditory of people. Many years ago when I studied at the unversity I was told by my psychology teacher that I belonged to the rare type but unfortunately it was told with some deel of negativity and it left something like a dust of sadness on my soul. I've done a test and I've received INFJ personality result so it helps me understand myself better without any negative prejudices so that I could handle the hurdles, choose the correct career path and so on. Yes, I am naturally very intuitive. Many thanks!

Thank you for reiterating that MBTI is not static. People put too much emphasis on this. My view is that over time and hardship in life people gradually begin to be less impulsive and therefore less extroverted and also more judgemental ... Fear dominates unless we are aware and keep it at bay.
