For sensitivity, the way I like to explain it to someone new is you want it to be at least fast enough to do a 180 comfortably as you sometimes need to do one of those quickly. At the same time, you definitely want it to be low enough where your crosshair isn't jiggling around crazily while you move it somewhere and hold it there as that indicates a lack of control, resulting in inaccuracy. You want it low enough for precise control. That max sensitivity will depend on how steady someone's hand is. For example, I think Hiko uses straight up tiny wrist aim for everything, but if you watch his play, he has supreme control despite the high sensitivity and lack of arm aim. It will come down to personal abilities with the hand and some practice, but if you are noticing a chronic lack of control, consider lowering your sensitivity. You'll get used to a new sensitivity faster than you'd think. Like within a day or two. Your mind somehow understands.
When it comes to gear, let me be clear that there is no need for stuff like US$150 gaming mice. Back in the days of CS 1.6, the craziest professionals used simple Microsoft mice and still did extremely well. Just get a mouse with a good design for your hand that you enjoy, that is durable, that isn't overpriced (meaning NOT US$150 come on), is wireless if you want that, has a button configuration you desire, has reasonable DPI settings (like 200-2000 as options and an adjuster. I like that as some single player games need to adjust to a lower DPI as their sensitivity setting is far too fast on the lowest setting @ higher DPI), and maybe with decent polling (~500-1000). This stuff where people have 15k DPI and 5k polling does not add anything. Trust me. It's just marketing. And as with all marketing, pros who stream are cool, so they will do things like change mice and put it in their title, likely sponsored to do so to drive emotional sales as people see that and think the equipment made the pro. No, they'd still be insanely good with a 60 hz monitor and a US$50 mouse and 80 FPS. (Do note that hz on a monitor and FPS does actually help to a point just like mice, but when you start getting into 500 hz at 700 fps territory, come on... it is a as useless as 15k dpi and 5k polling.).
The funny thing about your advice of how to peek is that, when an opponent just charges in holding forward and strafe past an angle I'm holding, it makes my brain malfunction and I often miss the easy shot and then they flick 1 tap me. I have A LOT of experience against people peeking in a logical fashion. I've put aside the excuse though. When they kill me, I messed up, and I need to get to where I recognize these types of peeks and neutralize them effectively. I had a tendency to think of them as dumb noobs and shift blame, but if I can't prove a play was bad by beating it, I need to come up with the right answer to the problem. I'm not sure what the optimal play is tbh. Sometimes, I start holding wider peeks so I can tap them as they peek out (further from the corner than I used to hold). Other times, I stay hidden, and when they make noise, I try to prefire them off sound combined with periodic checks to look for people walking up [or just being laser focused for a person to suddenly peek me that did walk up]. Sometimes, I'll be holding a tight angle as some in the match are peeking that way, and they run by. In that situation I wonder what is optimal (likely depends on how people are playing and the position + map + knowledge of where everyone is):
1.) No peek. Use utility and fall back, or just fall back either running or walking.
2.) Peek out as fast as possible, attempting to prefire where they will be since you saw their trajectory and hear them. (Though sometimes you are peeking into a rush. If you hear many, this might be a bad idea. If they tend to go for trade kills, perhaps reconsider this one. Other times, they instantly 1 tap every time I do that. I dunno how. Maybe, I was too slow? If they know you will do this, it can be quite easy for them to pop you.)
3.) Use some utility and then peek off it.
4.) Wait a moment then dry peek in an attempt to throw them off, securing the frag. They might be totally focused on an immediate peek then disengage and continue moving at which point you come out like a boss.
In some cases, they are too close and fast to consider anything with utility, and in other cases, you have nowhere to fall back to.
An aim guide with no mention of where to aim. Should I be going for head shots with every gun, should I be shooting ahead of my opponent for bullet lag, is it hit scan? While I appreciate the effort on the content this is hardly definitive.
Ответитьthank you voo
ОтветитьMy tracking is shit but flicks are like pros
ОтветитьWhat’s your crosshair settings ? I love your crosshair
Ответитьbro the hit marker in this game is fucking trash. coming from cs source and 1.6. cs go has the worst hit markers ever. no matter how still you are or how accurate you are the fucking bullets do their own shit in cs go.
Ответитьtoo coomplicated (im blind)
ОтветитьHey this is vsauce
Ответитьyour crosshair?
ОтветитьI just switched to 400 dpi and 1 sensitivity and I really like it down from 0.4 and 1800 dpi
Ответитьthere is a lot more aim types, dynamic clicking, static, reactive tracking, smooth, etc
Ответитьis he using mods for the maps, where can i access these practice maps?
Ответитьgood now do one for people who want to play casually and not like a pro
ОтветитьIt’s cause I’m way too damn nervous whenever I see someone 😭
ОтветитьIs your monitor 240hrz ?
ОтветитьIs it better to use "Classic Static" for cross hair and make it small like yours then? Also how do i get to this bot shooting range map that your in
ОтветитьI’m about to get my 5 year have and I’m still ass it’s unacceptable
ОтветитьWTF IS GEAR DUDE
Ответитьlol i was running 2500 dpi with standard sens of like 2.2? yeh safe to say my aim is instsntly better so much easier to control lol
Ответитьhi
ОтветитьNo aim needed when i auto shotty everyone 😈 silver elite for life bb
Ответитьwhat is the name of the community map?
ОтветитьThis game has the most stupid aim mechanism I have ever seen...
Ответитьthe bad thing about this game is that the newbie players just got jumpstraight againts high ranking players. wtf am i supposed to do :_(
Ответить400 dpi w/ 2.7 in-game helped a ton first deathmatch!
ОтветитьWhat's that map called? Was he saying "aim boss"?
ОтветитьHi can you analyse a game of mine ?? Lg
ОтветитьDont make videos if you dont know what you r talking about .. you forget to mention at least 5 important aspects
Ответитьdo u listen to bladee ?
ОтветитьIs 1000dpi with a ingame sens of 2.23 high did hit lem whit it tho😂
ОтветитьAt 400 DPI, my cs:go sens would be 10.5 lol
Ответитьface cam is off by like 0.5 second
ОтветитьAlright flicking aim is such a useful greed but what if our opponent is experienced enough to know that he/she has to counter straight than we have to move on to the tracking aim sequence so how can I track him good enough so I can head shot him or her
Ответитьmy sensivity 7 before i see this video
Ответитьguys go improve your life not csgo aim
ОтветитьThe point is... After spending so much time in practicing, giving efforts and looking on screen for so long time, if u don't get that nice aim then see how u wasted time and energy andddddd, even if you get that best aim, what u gonna do with it? Will just play for fun and self satisfaction and that will not give any value to your life.
I am trying to say... These skills in games which we are trying to achieve is just waste of time. It is very deep to understand. We are not doing anything great in life just giving us self satisfaction. Those Who are earning money by playing games that is something fine but those who are just playing for fun and trying these hard to learn skills is just waste of time. It is a harsh truth and we have to accept it.
BRO I KNOW SOMEONE WHO LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE YOU LMAO
But is an uruguayan who lives in Spain.
that crosshair you use is a nightmare, sometimes you cant even see it on the screen
ОтветитьYeah you did a video where you spoke a lot and did not explain how to spray
Well done
what about running, stopping and shooting, like i hear you can press a direction to reset your recoil ? I have about 300 hours on csgo
Ответитьim just a kid who plays cs go on my brother laptop, with this guide i finally get a quite kills and felt the fun when playing the game, thank you so much for the guide😃
ОтветитьI'm having just as same sensitivity as I use on desktop casually, I'm playing 2000 dpi and 2.7 in-game sensitivity yet managed to get to dmg. I've spent around 11 years playing hldm like that, few years of CoD as well. I guess it's mostly about muscle memory. Besides, low sensitivity is driving me crazy, I don't feel like throwing my mouse through the window just to turn around :D
ОтветитьMy CSGO doesn’t have this training. am a doing wrong?
Ответитьthanks for ur advice. im getting better from silver to gold nova
ОтветитьWrist and arm position and stability, mouse grip, mouse weight and mousepad texture are all super important. Most players have already reached their genetic aim potential with their current setup if they have 1k hours in shooters and probably need to adjust their technique rather than grind aim trainers and WASTE THEIR LIFE.
ОтветитьI disagree about the slow part. Speed is everything. Speed wins fights. Everyone, no matter how whack their sensitivity is or how terrible their aim is or how low their framerate EVERYONE IS ALREADY PIXEL ACCURATE, EVERYONE CAN CLICK A PIXEL ON THEIR SCREEN. The difference is all in how quickly you can be accurate.
Also, CS isn't even about aim. All the guns are RNG bullshit. Gunfights are about positioning and reaction time (AKA SPEED!)
