tho you don't have to go to true lab, you can just go. It means you require only one spare.

Basically the answer is no, you cannot beat Undertale normally without sparing.

I'm fairly sure doggo CAN be spared w/o sparing. it takes a while. But he'll eventually give up claiming hes "Freaked out that an unseen force is petting him" basically. is on pc version though.

you don't have to flee from shyren, eentually she'll stop singing with you

Of all the things I would’ve thought you’d need to spare, Doggo was at the bottom of the list. I mean, True Lab seems to always be annoying for challenges in Pacifist, but Doggo? Never thought in a million years.

I recently did a pacifist playthrough where I fled from all battles, unless I am required to spare certain characters, and without selling a single item. It was tough not being able to grind for money. For reference, I was playing the Switch port and didn’t abuse glitches. I also didn’t know about the optional way to get pass Toriel.

Memoryhead can be skipped with persistance glitch and probably without using mercy at all

"What is the minimum amount of spares to beat undertale?", Im pretty sure its 0 and its called genocide route

Small thing: since when you're in true lab you are locked on pacifist, you can actually FIGHT the amalgamates, without pressing spare, bringing the minimum spares to only 1.
