Weighing items sucks

Is this worthwhile? I really want to try this so I can work on my own schedule , but I’m a bit worried about spending more in gas and wear and tear on my vehicle. How much do you think you’d made on an average day or also on a good day, if you don’t mind sharing? Thanks 😊

I was lost from the beginning. I have no idea what a Batch is.

I just have a question. Do we buy the bags to put the groceries at the supermarket/store with the payment card?

Are we able to do more than 1 batch at a time? Like if theres batches at the same store, can you grab them all and do them at once, or do you do one batch at a time and just go back to the same store and do the next one?

Something I'm curious about is there a way to decline a batch/order that you get? And what about my location, I purposely went into another city because I thought it would have more orders there but I kept getting orders from a city near to where i live. Is there some way to adjust the app where you can get orders only where you are at that time?

I like the idea of just pick them first then scan and proceed with the batch.

I just joined instacart and I got my first order and it was a disaster products that were listed would not scan and as a result I could not do the order.

Hello i have a question today i did my first delivery but i used the payment card before to checkout but after that I notice that app ask me to use the payment card, I don’t have the physical card and i think i put the option to use a card number or something like that, i don’t remember exactly what option i selected. Is there any problem with that. My question is i have pay the payment card by myself

Which option is good for new people shop in drive or only shop? Thanks

What happens if the customer doesn’t purchase plastic bags? I can use my own reusable bag to make the delivery but what happens once I arrive at the customer’s location? Do I remove all 44 items from the bag and just leave them sitting on their dirty porch?

I just got on board with Instacart as well. The timer runs fast, when you're trying to get by other customers and finding the correct product. If you are familiar with the grocery store's merchandising, the job is easy peasy.

I work for Shipt and was wondering if I should add instacart. I don't like that you don't get any information about items, due time, distance to delivery drop off etc until AFTER you accept it. Shipt let's you see all of that before hand.

Yesterday was my first time and I did 2 batches. First one was a little stressful just because of getting familiar with the app and all. I’ve already been doing doordash for a long time so at least I know how to assess amounts Vs miles etc. Got the first one done. The second one, I thought oh only 7 items easy peasy. Pfft ! Lol. This guy wanted fresh Italian baguette. Mind you an hour from closing time. Another time was a certain steak. There’s like a hundred different types of steaks and trying to read his over and over and remember while looking at all the many labels and steaks and weights, I got dizzy. I didn’t know if he wanted 1 steak. Or a pack of two. A rib cut. Bone in. Angus NYYork strip. And some other different ones in replacements. so many words! Lmao. Nothing would scan. And there were no workers because it was late. I got so flustered I said fck it and tried to cancel. Then it wouldn’t let me. I said screw it and just picked out the closest thing to NY strip that looked like something good enough that I’d eat, and threw it in the cart. Threw in some garlic bread. Hope he enjoyed his very late dinner 😅

From the buyer's perspective on the Instacart app, can the buyer see the shopper on their way to their residence once the shopping has been completed? I know for Door Dash and Uber Eats, the customer can see the food delivery driver moving on a map toward their address.

Hi Ash, is there any reason why Instacart doesn't provide the estimated time of completion?

As well, from the map of the delivery route, I see the pictures of the customer's location as a house or a building. Are these icons accurate? Does a house really mean the customer is in a semi or fully detached house or townhouse? And, is the building indicate the customer is in a condominium or apartment building?

Hi, it’s my first time, if I pay on the app do I not need to queue up on regular checkout and pay manually like a normal shop, I’m confused.
Also, do batches have to be done at a within a certain time period or can I do it shortly after accepting a batch.

So you have to have a 4 digit pin to check out with the card, do they give that to you before you start or is it on the card??

This video just confirmed the fact that this gig is for the birds. Especially items out of stock and the goofy customer not having enough sense to know that they have somebody shopping for them and they just might have to ANSWER THEIR PHONE if the shopper needs to get in touch with them. If I did this gig, I would do what I do with food delivery which is NOT give a s---. i.e. If I go to drop off a food delivery at an apartment complex (low life scums who shouldn't even be ordering food through a food app and overpaying for it due to the fact that they don't have two spare pennies to rub together hence the reason they live in some ghetto dweller apartment complex) and I can't get into the building because they didn't provide a code, I give them one phone call and then their food goes on the ground right next to the main outside door when they don't answer.

I feel much more comfortable to do my first order. Thank you so much. You should make more videos.

Instacart google pay does not work at all grocery stores correct? They don't always have tap working apparently ?

So do you just go to self checkout and bag it up or go to self checkout and pay there?

It's one thing if the store offers boxes (Costco), but for others like Walmart, Metro, etc... I don't know what to do. Thanks.

Just started with Uber Eats this weekend and had a pretty good time with it (tips were great, but, many, many SHIT offers lol!). I'm signed up for Instacart as well and wanted to watch your video before giving it a shot. Seems like a lot of photos, scanning, and potential landmines along the way to completing an order. I'll give it a shot one day and see how it goes, but, I'm not sure I'm gonna like this one! :) P.S. been watching a lot of your videos over the past couple weeks and finally subbing. I have a couple of questions. I don't understand what batch means. And what do you deliver the food in if the store doesn't have the plastic bags?

I wanna try insta cart but makes me nervous of how to do all the list and scanning items and talking to the costumers.
