See, I‘m Swiss. We don’t bow to anyone. Filling someone’s glass because they‘re older? Not in a million years. I guess I won’t be drinking with older Koreans to begin with. Or not going to Korea at all. There. Problem solved.

South Korea is the only known country in the world where dogs are routinely and intensively farmed for human consumption. Up to a million dogs are kept in thousands of facilities, left exposed to the elements in small, barren, filthy cages and given little food. Many suffer from disease and malnutrition and all are subjected to terrible, daily neglect. The methods used to kill the dogs are brutal—electrocution is most common. They are slaughtered in full view of other dogs, and their final moments are painful and terrifying. Source: Humane Society.

that's a lot a rules for a country where people openly discriminate against and refuse services to foreigners. someone should let the korean public know that word has gotten out about this behavior and their open racism and people that visit the country don't take it kindly.

Hello, 🦋🦋🌺🌺🦩🦩May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED."
God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

I was stationed in South Korea for five years yes I extended 4 times because I love the country and no my wife is not Korean she is Australian. Most of this Culture stuff he talks about is crap nobody does it anymore like you have a drink or it's an insult. Just say you don't want any politely and that, that. Koreans are the most respectful and friendliest people I have ever met and the vast majority spec English is taufgt in their schools from 1st grade. And yes they do not expect you to tip but they're not going to turn it down if you do. Lastly unfortunately like the rest of the world, they can't stay off their phones.

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY IS IT FLIPPING 184TH PLACE? It should be first place because this country is the home of k pop stars and you might be thinking well hang on isn't k pop good? WRONG. K pop ruins lives! I am not joking people waste tons on money on albums and army bombs. so you know what an army bomb is? it's a stupid stick with a light bulb on it which you wave around in a bts concert/ Do you know how much they are? like 20 pounds and stuff for some light on a stick. I mean I can get light sticks for like 3 pounds. Honestly, South Korea is home to the weirdest people on earth ( apart from a few like BlackPink). literally life is a pain. Why? because every time my friend see a pic of bts or some k pop band. BOOM! all I see is googly eyes and loads of awwws. honestly I've been a one direction disliker (sorry fans) but never have I hated bts sooo much. yh that's all I got for south korea. oh wait they have no culture. all their culture is k drama. k pop. k movies. Where the hell is the culture? Why is Sri Lanka worse than Korea when it has more life and culture? It's more realistic. it's not all T.V. spotlight and beauty is it. Well whatever happens I hope people realize what country is the worst and what country is innocently not the worst. Thank you for reading my thing and sorry if you get offended. bye!

Most Koreans are in Bergen County New Jersey, one of the most corrupt and terrorist sponsoring areas in the world, a truly horrific place. Bergen County has many South Koreans that hurt Americans and worse in Avenel are dangerous including taekwondo masters who hold tournaments and teach refereeing. They have dirty students who hurt people and children and train to be dangerous bouncers, thugs and terrorists (Bergen County, Englewood, Tenafly). Work with corrupt New Jersey government to hurt people with cruelty and torture worse than North Korea but against Americans because these dirty Koreans are here and Bergen County and most of New Jersey are so corrupt and cause so much harm and terror in the State, NYC and world. Korea is a like a hell, if you're not good-looking, they'll force you to have plastic surgery as Koreans do!. I'm not even kidding. Too many reasons to list. Mostly because of the people.

I first thought it was just the Chinese and Japanese who were so evil, especially when is comes to animals. Now I have come to the conclusion it's ALL ORIENTALS! HEARTLESS, NON-THINKING, UNCOMPASSIONATE, SELF CENTERED, MURDERERS THEY ARE!!! If Korean sucks, also its people, its language, its culture, its lifestyle, its fashion, its song and especially its food is the worst in the world and it really sucks People in there are really judgemental Just sour meats maybe some veggies and rice not good The whole world is watching you! Korea will never be a modern and progressive country while doing this crueltys. Shame on You!

Thank you for the interesting information about Korean culture. I hope that Koreans would also want to learn something about the cultures of other countries that they wish to travel to. You see, we have here a Korean guy, who came to our university as an exchange student. He doesn't use two hands while receiving anything, he drinks more than any Russian guy that I know (i have called him an embulance twice because I thought he was going to die). At night (on Fridays) he drinks vodka and sings songs on top of his lungs in a mic at the apartment where he lives (his neighbours want to pack him in a parcel and send him back to Korea). At daytime he chases after girls with 3 phrases in Russian: he is rich; he is from South Korea; he has got two expensive cars. This guy really enjoys his staying in Russia, the only thing that upsets him when the locals call him Chinese. 😂

I find the care taken around respect and protocol really attractive. I was raised very formally (for a white person), and value the formalities a lot. I hadn’t known anything about Korean culture until Netflix started offering South Korean content, but I immediately noticed the importance of this is their society, and adore it. I’ve become very interested in South Korea as a result.

Best ways to get along almost anywhere in my opinion: 1) learn as much as you can about the country’s culture and history before traveling; 2) learn a few words in the native language, please, thank you, hello, goodbye, etc., and have a good translator app available; 3) be polite to everyone even if they are not polite to you; 4) Don’t expect anything to be like it is in your own country (you can be pleasantly surprised if it is); and finally, 5) Never talk politics.
