New York's Metro North Harlem Line 2022

This metro was nostalgic footage in New York City beautiful underground station

Since it was a New York Metro, I thought there would be very few seats in the car due to the large number of passengers, but instead, the seating arrangement was similar to that of express trains in Japan. I was a little worried if I could handle it during my commute.
In Japan, most of the commuter type cars are standing spaces.

This was nostalgic footage for me. Me father lived in White Plains in the 70s and I used to take the train to visit him. That was before the demolished the old station, which as I remember was between Main Street and Martine Ave. It was still diesel then, or at least it was diesel north of North White Plains. They still have diesel service north of Southeast.

Terrific video. Great scenery. Cost plenty to build up but the cost was recaptured through the ridership. Certainly a very efficient system that serves the City and surroundings very well. Thanks for the video!

I really have to admit that this is one line I don't pay attention to. As much as I love the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson line is my favorite line for Metro North Railroad. The New Haven line just gets on my nerves because of how slow it goes in Westchester county NY and in some parts of Fairfield county Connecticut. As far as the Harlem line, IDK. I really need to railfan it.

I am excited to watch, but I won’t be able to watch the live stream. I’ll just watch it later
