A few tricks for successful Firenock installation
1) One should not use nail polish acetone as it has lotion in it. Use. 100% acetone for best result. And blow out any acetone before using super glue. Acetone is a debonder for CA gel glue.
2) When install or remove the battery. Make sure you use counter clockwise rotation on the battery to prevent battery wire binding.
3) when install the Firenock into the shaft. It is advise to use strung wax on the nock cylinder for easy turning of nock and blood proof the circuit
4) one should turn the nock for the last 3/8” of in to prevent the battery from hanging on the edge of the battery
5) one should hold the arrow with the nock side down and hold it still for no less than 4 seconds to shut of the internal 15 degree motion sensor for shut off process.
6) use the 24 gauge orange luerlock tip for precision AG0GEL glue gel application.

I’ve recently had problems with Lumenok. With the faster speed of these new bows, the battery is coming loose on impact. Called Lumenok and talked with the vice president of the company and he had a suggestion; put a cork in the end of the arrow shaft, only putting it in enough where the battery of the Lumenok will touch or ride against the cork. Said he would send me three 5/16” corks and 3 new batteries, free of charge. Hope that remedies my problem. That’s good customer service!

Just a tiny touch of oil on the threads of that insert tool will assure you can unscrew it and the glue won't get in there.

I thought that you would have used the capture lumenok .300 on your deathstalker black eagle arrows, that they sell on eBay. Nice video now I know of the fire nocks and the install ,great job. $37.33 , for a 3 pack or the pink ones that are a little cheaper.

When I remove the original nock with the new lumenock I use the lumenock tool to make sure the edge/rim of the arrow is perfectly even all the way around...with your new setup it might not be as critical...

That was pretty cool . I like the snap in of the nock and that would be nice if you could replace the Half moon , Flat nock with this then it would be Guaranteed not to dry fire because the arrow would be connected to the string .Thanks Rich

Hey Rich, me again! Prostaff for woodys archery supply. You may contact my good friend Jeffrey Garwood. I know you wanted to do a live steam with him but he's a 🐔 😆 I'm still poking trying to make that happen.

Can these “click-nocks” be used on crossbows that require half-moon nocks? My bolt moves out of battery at times while hunting. This would solve that problem.

Yup I would probably get so much glue in there the set tool would be unremovable lol! Just wondering if you have to leave it in while the glue sets or can you unscrew it and start working on your next arrow while it dries?

Man I wish I could go on the meet and greet pig hunt. Been hard with my Dad passing away this past February. Hopefully I will get to go next year, and get to bring and use his crossbow. It's a cheaper model recurve type at 150 lbs so he could cock it. If not I myself am getting a new crossbow this year. Not sure which one, but your testing out videos help. Good luck to you and your daughter. Be safe and shoot straight. All hail the Bunjie Clan!

If the glue insert moves and puts a tight nock slightly out of alignment... use waxed dental floss as a jam nut. Works very well.

I believe I have mentioned that I knew Dorge (inventor of fire nock) back when he was getting started. I wonder if you remember me mentioning that (while all mine were free) I couldn't use them. The reason being, they were too fragile.
The best? Technically they are.

What I am warning you right away is that you can break them easier than sneezing.

Google the wiggle method of turning them off. It works the best in my experience. Too expensive to be busting them up due to heavy handedness.

Great lights for sure but be xtra cautious.

Hope those come pre installed also. Pretty cool how they turn off, I have to wrestle with lumenoks at times. I thought I saw some quill arrows with caption nocks advertised on them but might be mistaken, found it odd for excalibur.

Wow, those are way more complicated than Lumenoks. Going to have to check your POI, that's probably changed with all that extra stuff on the back end. Second wow, those turn off easy, that's worth the install aggravation.
