O cara de azul parece que ta entalado 😅
ОтветитьAwesome. Specifically the last 5 minutes or so. Love his training explanation.
ОтветитьThis class is amazing
ОтветитьDid anyone noticed the belt tied the wrong way?
ОтветитьSimply the goat
ОтветитьVery thoughtful of Roger to embroider his name on his belt. Can"t imagine how embarrassed I would be if I accidentally mistook my own 4-stripe black belt for his? Easy to mix up.
Ответитьno wonder he is considered the greatest
ОтветитьI'm bored so I'ma mess with the BJJ community on UTUBE today!!!!
MY MIND JUIZO STILL IS TURNT UPSIDE AT THE FACT ROGERS DAD TALKS LIKE HE IS FROM CALIFORNIA WHILE ROGER TALKS LIKE MAKENZIE DERN
Respect to the person handling the camera and giving us different angles of the technique.
ОтветитьAwesome great system for mount.. really helpful It's been challenging for me keeping mount position specially against big strong guys..
ОтветитьLooked this up! Sinced i watched the clip of lexfridman with Roger gracie
ОтветитьTakeaways:
1. Stay high enough to shutdown elbow escape and worry only about bridging
2. Get the first grip: get you whole arm in as deep as possible. Feel your wrist on the neck.
3. Protect yourself from bridging escape by adjusting your balance
4. Get thumb in first for your second grip and strip opponents fingers with rotating wrist motion
5. Post your head for balance if needed
6. Feet 🦶 alway stay attached for control
I love Bernardo Faria very positive and smily approach to very practical lessons. Thank you, Bernardo!!!
ОтветитьHuge honor to be watching it, tks guys!
ОтветитьGOAT!
ОтветитьThe last few minutes of this video about practicing specific positions makes this video complete gold
ОтветитьThose were really great questions. Helped me lot thx!!
Ответитьi've watched this video about 5 times so far and have picked up something different everytime
ОтветитьEven Roger suffers in side control...! Damn
ОтветитьLegends
ОтветитьI think Bernardo deserves a lot of credit. Specifically, he shows genuine excitement from learning yet also asks questions that the audience should know to understand and to focus when trying to learn the techniques. Helping both the instructor and the audience.
ОтветитьHoly cow, I always struggled getting to either a kimura or arm bars from top mount and I just tried this out during sparring just half an hour ago. I made one mistake that enabled my opponent to defend at the last moment, but this technique, with these details... this is just pure gold. Thank you very much, you two absolute legends!! 🙌🙌🙌
Ответитьim dedicating my life to learning rogers game starting today, the detail about moving the defending hands with that thumb in the collar behind the ear is unbelievable, GOAT
ОтветитьIts just me who thinking Roger Gracie and Gordon Ryan look alike?
Ответить"How many hours you spend in the mount last month? Almost none"
ouch that hurts Roger how you know that bro
Roger may be the world champion but Bernardo is the champion of positivity! Never seen someone give off so many positive vibes!
ОтветитьI, too, am more successful with the thumb in.
ОтветитьBernardo is the nicest man in Jiu Jitsu. He is a true ambassador.
ОтветитьRoger is so big he makes Bernardo look small, wow
ОтветитьUNREAL….I feel like this is the first time I’ve ever understood how to set up the cross collar vs a knowledgeable opponent…amazing
ОтветитьOutstanding.
Ответитьawesome video! And thanks to Mikey M in the background being quiet :)
ОтветитьQue aula! 👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьWhere is the "Huge honor for me" merch? 😁
Ответитьyep yep ok. :)
ОтветитьQuestion is, out of all techniques Bernardo learns from BJJ Fanatics work, which ones does he incorporate into his own halfguard and under over pass system?
ОтветитьImagine if your professor was Roger Gracie..
ОтветитьTHIS IS BEYOND AWESOME.
ОтветитьNothings going in so im gunna watch the same vid every day for a week and see how it goes 😂 maybe i’ll learn 52 moves a year
ОтветитьDoes anyone have advice for getting the second hand in if the collar is pulled right to the back of their neck?
ОтветитьThe start stop drill that Roger was discussing towards the end of this video is very similar to something I would do in basketball. It's a very programmed version of deliberate practice. There is a shooting drill in which the objective to make 5 shots in a row from various spots on the floor. If you miss a shot you start over. Seems simple but it was actually quite challenging. As your accuracy and consistency develop you increase the number of shots you need to make in a row to advance to the next spot.
This also sort of reminds of how Rickson would describe going in on certain days and work on some specific part of his development. For instance, he would, no matter what happened, even if it meant he got submitted, he would only try and arm bar a person on a particular training day.
Those specific skills training words: Truth.
ОтветитьGOAT
ОтветитьYou know how humbling it is to hear roger talk about how hard getting out of side control is even at his level. It just makes you remember what you are experiencing is par for the course
ОтветитьTwo GOATS! Roger is the best, thank you Bernardo!!!
ОтветитьBernardo I love your energy man! Keep it up !
ОтветитьWay to Go!!
ОтветитьRoger is not that good, i'd beat him in a jiu jitsu match, for sure.
