beautiful craftsmanship, well done.
ОтветитьThis is great. Did you end up using a sealant on it at the end? I'm considering trying to airbrush my own as a Spider-Man theme but don't want it to end up rubbing off from usage
ОтветитьYeah I'm not gonna attempt this.
ОтветитьWon't it feel sitcky/tacky from the paint?
ОтветитьWhat type of paint did you use?
ОтветитьHow's the controller holding up?
ОтветитьHey so how you make it so the paint doesn’t come off when using with sweaty hands?
ОтветитьDoes it still have grip and if you sweat does it melt
ОтветитьSick😯
ОтветитьShould one shoot it with a final clear coat or just wait for the paint to dry completely?
Ответитьthe only problem with this is getting the primer to actually bond with the plastic so that this doesn't just flake off after you seal it. Especially on the buttons. My experience trying to spray acrylics onto my switch controller worked for the controller part, but the buttons were just impossible to keep covered without shrinking the paint to the point that youll eventually flake off chunks of paint/primer. You can kind of get a better bond between the primer and plastic if you sand the surface with light grit paper first, but this still at least in my experience is not a long term solution to customizing a controller completely. Better way with the buttons is how you did it by just making a mold and pouring your own resin/plastic buttons. Honestly, the cheapest solution is still unfortunately just buying a custom plate for the controller because ultimately n matter how good you seal that thing, you're never going to be able to keep the acrylics on there for even 6 months before you lose big chunks of paint/primer that will shrink and expand every time you use the controller and get sweaty.
ОтветитьOhh my god its relly beatiful🫶nice job
ОтветитьCan I just leave it with just primer? I ask because I want to make mine the classic PS1 color and primer gray is close to perfect.
ОтветитьWhat are the materials you use? That clip anchor for the front buttons is genius!
ОтветитьI would be to afraid to take it apart i would probably won't be able to put it back together thinking i miss place to parts but it looks cool though
ОтветитьI have spray painted my dualShock 4 but the paint absorbs dusts of my hand whenever I use to play with it for a long time and the Color is peeling out from the controller
Process which I have done:
I have sanded the controller with 400 grit sandpaper and then I spray painted 2-3 coats of white color on it and at last sprayed glossy clear coat to seal the paint
still the color is absorbing dust please suggest what to do to make the paint permanent on controller?
Great work! How do you center the stencil with the surface you need to spray? Like you did with cyperpunk logo and dualsense touchpad
ОтветитьThat's sick !!
Ответитьdid the buttons give you any problems? also are the analog sticks made of the same resin
ОтветитьI have everything to do this. I didn't realize it was so simple. I was scared I would need some specialized paint or clear coat to do it
ОтветитьBruh this is so good.
ОтветитьDo you spray any protective layer on top of your finish paint at the end?
ОтветитьYou need to sand it guys. Sand it and then clean. Then use an adhesion promotor for plastic. And obviously a 2k clear coat. If you want it to last forever
ОтветитьAmazing, i admire your skills
ОтветитьYou need to sell these controllers.
ОтветитьHow and what do you use to seal your paint work?
Great Video! Thanks again!
Hey man, awesome work. I know it's an old video but do you take orders to customise controllers for a price?
ОтветитьThis is sick!!! Adding yet another project to my "want to make this" list.
ОтветитьPretty dope
ОтветитьLovely job.
ОтветитьI'm really interested in what size needle you used .
Ответитьthis is very very very very good
ОтветитьIs CreativeX clear top matte a good clear coat?
Ответитьwhat's the best kind of paint to use?
ОтветитьLooks sick! Awesome job! ^.^
ОтветитьHow do you do the stencils?
ОтветитьGreat work 💪🏾
ОтветитьHey dude I LOVED this mod and I want to make it as well but I think if I open the controller I won't be able to close it. Can you maybe make a video explaining how you did that?
Ответитьthis is insanely good 👍
ОтветитьWhat did you use to protect the paint? I want to customize my control but I don't know when I finish using transparent spray because I understand that when you touch something a lot with said product it loses its function, it can even become sticky.
I don't know if I'm right, it would be very helpful if you tell me.
Where did you get the stencils from?
ОтветитьWhat kind of stencil paper do you buy? What’s it called ?
ОтветитьYes bro am like a suscriber yes bro
ОтветитьWhere did you make the stencils?
ОтветитьHey so I've done everything but the touch pad. Did you also sand that down and prime it then paint or did you go straight for paint
ОтветитьSuper dik! Keep up the good work 💪🏼
Ответитьmake a full white controller!
ОтветитьKiller work man! Much better than other videos I’ve seen
ОтветитьHow do I put a TikTok logo on my keyboard keys
ОтветитьOne huge question for me.
Hopefully you see this comment.
Does the airbrushing remove the little texture on the back of the controller
