Wonder who's committing all these crimes...puzzling.
ОтветитьAs someone that lives in University Circle, it's a 15 minute drive to downtown not 5. I just wanted to confirm that. I'm planning to move to Ohio City because as you mentioned, it's actually a 2 min drive to downtown, has it's own downtown, and has Detroit Shoreway and Tremont nearby. Heads up to others, try to not consider University Circle as it's just okay. Much better to be on the west side right near downtown. Also to get downtown from University Circle you have to go through a horrible East Cleveland hood. Ohio City is 1 train stop away from downtown. University Circle is 6 stops away from downtown. Pick the one that is close and better.
ОтветитьI moved to the Cleveland area with some trepidation, knowing about the violence issues it has. Indeed, I had one brush with gang terror when I got lost in the wrong area (Clark Fulton). I lived in the suburb of Westlake for two years and in Lakewood along Warren for two years. The Rush Hour commute from Westlake to the city was about 35 minutes. From Lakewood, 20 minutes, tops. Lakewood is pretty safe—the further west you go, the safer it is. It gets a little dicey around the “Bird streets” closer to 117. Lakewood has great restaurants, cool shops, but it is sort of pathetic when it comes to parks. Basically there’s the one on the lake, and the metro park on the western border, and that’s it. Not a lot of accessible trees. Westlake has several parks, and an awesome library. It is also more “plastic suburbia,” with a lot of chain stores. So funny that this guy talks about carjackings? I think he means car theft? Because there aren’t many things more terrifying than carjackings! Of the neighbourhoods he mentions, Detroit Shoreway is probably the safest. Ohio City is where people go to party. But, in the actual city of Cleveland, the poverty, desperation, and the gangs are always close by. Cleveland is such a mixed bag. It is wonderful for arts and food. But there are downsides. Things you don’t think about. For instance, T he soil in Cleveland has a lot of lead and other poisons in it, since this was an industrial area for decades.
Ответить⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ОтветитьThought agents are not supposed to know where the “hood” is
You seem super eager to place yourself on a pedestal To SELL and down the less fortunate
Car thefts, not jacking. Big difference.
Ответить“Near the ‘hood” 🙄
ОтветитьFolks getting robbed in treamont a lot. I have a buddy whos a right ray of sunshine always tells me where everyones getting mugged, car jacked n shot at red lights....good times.
ОтветитьCleveland is a dangerous sewer!!! It’s one big ghetto
ОтветитьNear the hood? Wow
ОтветитьAbsolutely incorrect. West Park is by far the best, safest, cleanest part of Cleveland proper.
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention Shaker Heights and Shaker Square, Beachwood Heights, Bratenahl, and Lakeshore Blvd.
Ответить3 generations of my family lived in Slavic Village. I ran away in '09 to Seven Hills because of the drugs, crime, violence, and black racism.. Predominantly professionals and retired professionals. Mostly owner occupied single family homes. Super low crime. High taxes but you get 90 second police response and fire/ems. Close to 77/480. Since '09 my home value increased $100k. If you plan to move to the Cleveland area Seven Hills is your top choice.
ОтветитьGlad you mentioned Lakeview cemetery . Four presidents are buried there . I've spent many days at Lakeview .
Ответитьi lived in cleveland heights for 5 years from 97 to 2002, loved it there
ОтветитьI had a friend who went into Detroit Shore-way one Saturday morning, went in as a liberal left Democrat, by the time he left at 10:30 pm that night, he was a staunch MAGA hat wearing Republican.
Ответитьi apply for csu so it would be worth to go ?
ОтветитьI'm not going to lie Little Italy is the reason I'm moving back to Cleveland
Ответитьwhich area is the best property investment in ohio?
ОтветитьSadly the four areas you cited are quickly be encroached by unsavory hoods..... crime rates need to be looked at VERY closely.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite poets, Mary Oliver, was from Maple Heights.
ОтветитьI’d also throw in West Park/Kamm’s Corner, Clifton-Edgewater and Shaker Square.
ОтветитьI’d say Tremont is the best. I lived there for 3 years and loved it. It is a little pricey but the bars, parks, restaurants and stores are great. Also you’re right next to the Steelyard, downtown and Ohio City.
ОтветитьI am moving to Cleveland Ohio to work at the Cleveland Clinic in the summer. Very interested in living in the downtown area. I can't wait for your video talking about areas of downtown to live.
ОтветитьCheck brecksville
ОтветитьMost Lakewood homes are indeed older, but they all have character and amenities that are not found in many other suburbs. They were built to last. My home is probably worth about $250k, but I pay over $600k in insurance for replacement value. I question my insurance agent repeatedly if they would really pay more than the house is worth and he has always said "yes".
ОтветитьBring a bulletproof vest if you are planning to come
ОтветитьIt kills me when people alway Terrible Cleveland is of course its not like cities in Florida Texas or California, it's in line with all the cities in the northern industrial regions they all look very similar, some people don't like the south or way out west, it just pisses me off when people single out Cleveland, when they have the same damn thing as other cities in the region maybe even more
ОтветитьI grew up in Detroit-Shoreway. Happy to see it doing so well!
ОтветитьHi thanks so much for this video. Last week I met someone from Ohio and I asked him about Ohio and he told me that he was born in Ohio, he told me not to move to Ohio because there are no jobs and it's a horrible state and I was so disappointed. I don't believe what he said because other people say nice things about Ohio even though I never lived in Ohio
ОтветитьCleveland...Ohio's Detroit.
ОтветитьAre these good areas for African Americans ?
ОтветитьThat was an interesting video
ОтветитьFunny tree man is a fabulous place but hardly anybody knows who actually started that the very first house the first one
ОтветитьHi Mr, why not Glenville and Collinwood? What you think of this zone? Of course i dont know this city. But Glenville and Collinwood are in dangerous zone? Thank you very much, you have a good video. I am from France and i look for invest .... I look for safe and cheap zone. Thank youuuuuu!!
ОтветитьAll of cleveland is a sketchy area. Luck of the draw is your mugged or assaulted anywhere you go.
ОтветитьLove, love, cle
ОтветитьNatural History Museum – not “National” History, lol. Big difference. Otherwise, great video
ОтветитьLadt comments here, live actually downtown. K&D developed has done great things for downtown living. Because I do service here I know how it works.
ОтветитьLast place the Gordon district I drive every week. He is right lits of good places to live but still within gang disputes. Loads of good living areas. This guy has hit most of the marks.
ОтветитьTremont district you begin to get gang involved. Houses are going for a premium bt worth it but gang activity is there.
ОтветитьOk, Ohio City, Great Lakes Brewery is a perfect example of history. Someone tried to murdet Elliot Ness and the bullet hole is still in the wall.
ОтветитьI will make a few separate comments here. Great video to start. I will comment as we go. First, the King of Jordan came to Cleveland for many medical treatments. Little Italy is now somewhat dangeroys. Although what is being said is mostly true.
ОтветитьAlex speed up the intro. It’s too long you gotta get to it. Your opinions and facts about these neighborhoods in Cleveland is what we like hearing.
ОтветитьI grew up in the southwest area of Old Brooklyn, off of Schaaf Road. There are little cape code mixed in with beautiful old mansions (what I consider mansions, anyway). The neighborhood is extremely stable, mostly homeowners. Maybe much in the way of entertainment or dining, but a short drive to Tremont. There's shopping nearby. It was a great place to grow up!!
ОтветитьCan you give me the rundown on Goodrich kirtland/Asiatown
Ответитьlived in cuyahoga county for 13 years, geauga county for 6 & portage for almost 2.
ОтветитьI lived in Cleveland for 30 years and finally got out and now avoid it like the plague. Its lib/dem run and will never change until they start voting in conservatives. I graduated from South High 73 and at the time Cleveland schools were ranked at the top of inner-city schools, but the libs started forced busing and ANYONE who could afford it got their kids out, sadly I could not. The collapse of the schools was a major nail in the coffin, but the councilmen and women made a small fortune from the deal.
