one question, i got an pretty old PC from 2015, got an 1080 which is running smoothly all the games i play and is not even close to 100% load. But the issue i got with my build is that my i5 6600k CPU is on 100% load on all of the games i play, which makes my games stutter sometimes and even some fps drops. Question is, is it worth to upgrade to i7 7700k to fix this issue? (thats the best cpu i could get for my mainboard btw)
ОтветитьGreat video... Do you have the benchmark for the igpu in these too?
Ответитьyou got typos on your slides. i5-6700k should be i7
ОтветитьI know this is old. But if I upgrade from a 6700 to a 7700. It will push my ram to a higher frequency as well. I'm wondering if it's worth picking up one ...
Ответитьlmao if you look closely at some of the tests the 6600k was labeled as an "i7 6600k" and at other points in the video you'll notice that the 6700k and 6600k where also label "i7 6600k" and "i5 6700k"
Ответитьi7-6600k???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
ОтветитьCheck nomenclature?
ОтветитьRight now on hwbot over 18 samples of 7700k have hit 7 ghz with only 2 samples of the 6700k.
The max frequency on the 7700k is 7.38 ghz with the 6700k record at 7.05 ghz.
I came to see this video wondering if I should upgrade my 6600k to a 7600/7700k but now I think I'll just push my clocks higher, I'm already at 4.5 ghz and I know I can get 4.8 stable.
do you have at least one of these cpu's? I want to buy 1 pls.. i will pay you!!
ОтветитьStop talking and do the benchmarks!!!
ОтветитьThere’s no performance differences
ОтветитьWell back in Feb 2017 when I bought my i5-7600k I was moving up from a Q9550 system, so I noticed a pretty big increase in performance!
ОтветитьThe i7-7700 is cheaper than the i7-6700 lmao
ОтветитьCan you compare them by hosting a 1.14 Minecraft Server?
Ответитьm crying at i5 2nd gen
ОтветитьMy Haswell 4690K istill serving me just fine in 2019.
Ответитьwhaqt was the temp on both theo?
ОтветитьStill got 6700k going strong at 4.8ghz don’t see any need to upgrade anytime soon
ОтветитьThe difference between the 6th gen and 7th gen being a higher amount of mhz at the same amount of watts which in itself should be a positive thing but also turns out to achieve worse performance than the previous generation with a higher temperature.
Just why are they continuing doing this even if the results are going into a degradation rather than an improvement?
Coffeelake of course, Assembly coffeelake with a cup of coffee in the morning... hmmm it feels like having a sex with gal gadot...
ОтветитьPaul can you do one for Skylake vs. Coffee lake? Thanks!
Ответитьshould i upgrade from i3 6100 to i5 6600k
ОтветитьIs it worth going from the 6600k to a 7700k?
Ответитьthe graph is wrong. the numbers at the bottom say i7 6600k and i5 6600k
Ответитьso if i upgrade my 6600k to 7700k thats going to raise my fps in game?... i can get 30fps in 4k but i wanna raise that, and i already have a gtx1080ti
ОтветитьJust ordered an i5 7600k for 220$
ОтветитьThank you sir we love your video
ОтветитьThank you soooo much, I picked up on what you said about under volting your 7700k. I was getting 70+ degrees at stock clock speeds on games like bf1 and gta on my 7700k with a hyper 212 evo and I had no clue why. I under volted and now I get 60-65 degrees.
ОтветитьHere's a simple answer for the NON Gamer since we're always left out of these videos. If YOU care about 4K at all and want it on Netflix as an option with your PC. Then you MUST go KABY LAKE.. Skylake is not listed as supported. YOu will also need an Nvidia GTX 10X series board so recommends a 1060 or better. So if you are a media junkie like myself hold off on Skylake and stick with Kaby Lake.
ОтветитьFound an Asus laptop for £187 with an i7 6700HQ with a GTX 965M, worth it?
Ответитьdid anyone else notice paul put the i5-6600k as i7-6600k?
ОтветитьSo i want to do regular streaming and videos , which cpu should i get...plus editing
ОтветитьWhy is the 6700k better then the 7600k? Wtf Intel
ОтветитьI have an i5-6600k @ 4,5GhZ running and I'm thinking about to exchange it with an i7-7700k @ ~5GhZ, especially for Lightroom etc.
What do you think? Do not consider the money, just the time and efficency that is worth it.
i also lookt at it ,, and see no difference in cpu,, until i start RENDERING..then you wil see a big change..
i now have
msi gaming pro ,B150
Furry HyperX 2133mhz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming - OC Edition
ssd kingston
i5 7600k (and this one is the best i think.)
watercooled cpu.
full trottle cpu is 60c
Planning on buying a CPU to complete my system. 6700k still pretty good?
ОтветитьIt was running pretty warm at that point, but I'm not even going to say a temp at all. Fuck you guys if you were wondering.
ОтветитьThe difference is TEMP...
ОтветитьIf you're undervolting 1 cpu, you should undervolt all of them
ОтветитьHey Paul you made a typo when showing the 3D fire strike benchmarks, it reads i7-6600k and i5- 6700k
ОтветитьPAUL, I THINK YOU MISSPELLED THE CPU NAMES, I NOT SHURE IF IN THE BEGINING OF THE VIDEO WHERE YOU SHOW THE SPECKS, OR IN BENCHMARKS. AND NOW I AM CONFUZED :( FIRST TIME WAS 15-6600K AND I5 7600K ... I7 6700K AND I7 7700K AND ON THE BENCHMARK WAS I7-7700 AND I5-6700
ОтветитьThe 1.4v is the gigabyte board.
They released a bios update to fix that. Bios F4.
i got a score of 960+ in cinebench R15 with my i7 7700k, is that normal?
ОтветитьNice video, what was the fan he said? I couldn't understand him.
ОтветитьMy only regret buying the my 6600K is that it does't have the DRM support for 4K steaming of Netflix.... I'm using an H60 Cosair AIO and running 4.7 OC 1.3V with that tiny cooler and it runs equally good as the 7600K. Drives my 1080 TI perfectly. But..... no 4K Netflix :'-(
Ответитьmy 6700k can get to 4.53Ghz :D
so i won't buy a i7 kabylake :P
