Dumb decision to be a cheerleader

No one cares. You’re just the first one that is attractive and we only care about attractive people

She has made amazing strides since this was filmed and has regained a lot of her upper body mobility, but she is no closer to walking now then she was then. She is young and strong and if she can stay healthy, science may catch up with her one day and walking may very well be in her future but for now, I don't think it's happening.

How tragic, beautiful young child, barely breaking out into the world and you're handed this.. it could always be worse I guess.. she's got a great attitude, I think she will surpass her goals and I pray she does.

Nearly every accident I - and my fellow cheerleaders - had occurred outside the normal cheerleading/tumbling settings. Don’t do this, girls. Also, don’t do stunts with girls who aren’t cheerleaders (they aren’t trained and WILL drop you).
