I came into recovery from a lot of things almost 6 years ago. Mostly horrific child abuse. I had wanted to kill myself right before I got help. I found this song about my 2nd year in. I struggled terribly with insomnia and ptsd. I would put this song on repeat and float away. It helped heal a little bit of my soul and a big bit of my brain. What a gift.

The first time I listened to this song, life was throwing big punches at me at every corner. Dreading to enter my house, I would park my car in the driveway, recline my seat, open my sunroof to look at the night sky and sit in my car for an hour and listen to calming music. This song came on and I immediately fell in love with how it made me feel and somehow brought a lot of positivity and tranquility within all the chaos of my life. Appreciation of all my struggles and knowing that everything will be okay because the beautiful soul inside of me, will get me through this physical life on earth. I even cried of how beautiful it is to be alive even through the struggles.

When I get into a deep life conversation with someone close to me, and I haven’t introduced them to this song, I immediately want them to hear it and hope they feel something amazing too.
