To answer another FAQ: when using the Cardo intercom, we take the audio from the GoPro and sync it 👍🏼
ОтветитьJust use a Drift action camera. Waterproof, very slim & streamlined, side of helmet ideal and no it will not pull your head due to torpedo shape. Rotating lens for perfect position, plug in mic & fit to inside helmet. And finally the remote wrist mounted control to start stop & change settings on the go. What's not to like? Superb quality.
ОтветитьHelm? Did bro play RS?
ОтветитьWhy do you need a MIC? Is it necessary when you are out riding?
ОтветитьWhat is the best exercise for flabby inner thighs?
ОтветитьWhat is a good camera recommendation (no mic needed).
ОтветитьHow do these cameras start/stop recording?
Ответитьlol. why do GoPro require that huge extra box just to use a Mic. It pathetic. I use an Akaso and I'm annoyed enough that you can't use any mic, it has to be an Akaso micro USB one. Cant imagine having to buy a giant extra box to strap to my head JUST TO USE A MIC. Good Job GoPro.
ОтветитьHave you found a way to enable quick capture with audio when using an external mic? It’s too difficult to turn the GoPro on and then begin filming while moving, and you’ve normally missed the moment…
ОтветитьSorry my son, but that's junky and complicated. Why not get a Ulanzi cage for the gopro. It has an all in one built in harbour for the mic adaptor. Its compact clean and tidy and your mic wires come to a mic inside the chin easily velcroed in position. The 3.5 end coming from the mic is folded in the lining (as is excess wire) so when you need it, it comes out to the mic adapter. I have a tiny bit of Velcro glued to the appropriate place near the mic adaptor port so I can stop the cable flapping. And the matching velcro on the tss short adaptor. I don't look at your chin when we are eye to eye in a conversation because eye line is important. Also if your head is in riding position on your bike the camera below the chin mount is going to show too much of the cockpit. Your helmet is facing down 20 degrees or so too. The closer the eye line the better.
Ответитьcant i just tape my phone to my helmet
ОтветитьThank you so much for showing the lil slip in the cheek pad for the mic. I had no idea that existed!
ОтветитьI thought that was a clumsy attempt at explaining a product. Why didn't you have the items separated so people could see the components you were talking about ? Also why no links to the item either ?? Thanks for trying though.
ОтветитьLooks like you are wearing my sweatshirt…..
Ответитьhmmm i have an AGV K5 helmet that has the sharp front to it and have been thinking about riding with a camera in case something happens and i need footage for insrance purposes....might be an excuse to buy another helmet
ОтветитьIs it worth lining the camera shot up with the App?
ОтветитьWhy have you edited background music on your video/?
Does this music improve on the subject , please tell me as your music is F Shite.
Why can't you inform me and i'll decide if i want to play shite music. Grow up.
Also, don't do what I did with my first helmet cam. Mounted it on top of my helmet... it was fine at low speed, but my first motorway trip at cough the national speed limit it flew off. So sorry if you were driving down the M25 a few years ago and had a gopro hit your windscreen
Sirs, Why have you recorded background music onto your video.?
Does your choice of music improve your video.?
Why do you need music on your video.?
I look forward to your reply.
Kevin
A quick tip for the GoPro Hero9: If you use the Media Mod, in order to use the 3.5mm mic, the back screen protector won't simultaneously fit. The problem with this is you could chip your Hero 9 rear screen while the media mod is installed. This was a problem with the 8, but was fixed.
ОтветитьYou Boys using SuperView or Wide setting.?
ОтветитьThe cage mount, is called a GoPro swivel mount, or ball joint mount.
ОтветитьWhat mic do you use?
ОтветитьIf you have an AGV helmet the best mount hands down would be a Motoradds helmet mount. No need for silicone of anything of the such
Ответить"just nestle it in the flaps there" Better advice then my dad
ОтветитьYou have kicked me into gear to also try out the Motovlogging. I just need to sort out the helmet camera on a chin mount and a mic and I think I am sorted. Keep on making the great videos.
Ответитьbut what about when it rains??
ОтветитьThere’s a nice chin go pro mount that I use on my helmet where you can bend the arms with adhesive right onto the helmet. Feels more secure than their regular mounts. Also which picture mode do you use for your videos? Nice vid! I need to set up a mic like this
ОтветитьThanks for not doing this on the stupid podcast thing, I’d have missed it there
ОтветитьAnother stability mod you can do is you can get a rubber insert for the go pro mount clip to stop it shaking and also to stop the clip accidentally coming undone
ОтветитьFellas just a few questions... does it take much fiddling with the flaps to get it in the right spot?... also these “little fluffers” for the flaps are these extra flaps or folds that go around the main larger flaps? A diagram would be great 😂
ОтветитьWhat resolution and frame rate do you shoot in?
ОтветитьHello. Well I have my own channel and have really been struggling with setting up my helmet mic. I took your advice changed my mic, and it works perfectly. Thank you very much!! Keeo up the good work!
ОтветитьCan you guys provide the link for the mic that you use? I need an adapter that hooks up the the GoPro audio converter instead of a direct plug in to 3.5mm jack. Thanks!!
ОтветитьHow do you get the batteries to seem to last so long. Most I manage to get out of one is 45 minutes.
ОтветитьBet those flaps haven't been washed for a while !
ОтветитьStruggling for content now lads eh?
ОтветитьLink to the mic??
Ответитьanything special to do if the helmet is a matte finish. or will it just work fine?
ОтветитьWashington State patrol will not allow cameras on a crash helmet or filtering through traffic because it’s “very unsafe”. But, they go flying around wearing short sleeved shirts and riding jodhpurs, and two abreast like CHIPS.
ОтветитьSo, you pull the skin back over when the tip is close to your mouth ?
ОтветитьSilly question gents, do you just start recording before you set off or is there an easy way to start and pause recording in the fly ? Would imagine trying to press the right buttons on the GoPro is tricky once yr moving, I wonder how you'd know if it's actually started recording ?
Sorry for the dull question
You guys are absolute legends 🏅🏅
Love it clean i does
LOL
Chris’ just the tip.
Anyway…. I’d also recommend the DJI osmo action camera. I have both go pro and the osmo and I have to say I prefer the video colouring and detail from the osmo. Mic adaptor is cheaper too.
My story is once upon. A time there was a man who’s was the motorcycle equivalent to Alan partridge his name was baronvonpartridge
ОтветитьYou should sell this bits on your website, we trust you and I would love juts go to your web site find what I want and know it would be perfect as you guys use it !!
ОтветитьGood focus on the important of the flaps
ОтветитьLove the 1970s porn music🤣🤣
ОтветитьIs it just me that noticed that Nige's mic isn't working and his audio is boosted from the camera's internal? Chris' audio clarity is a clear giveaway.
