I love how you solved this. At one point I was thinking you'd just have a pull out drawer with platform you'd rotate manually. This is a much better solution. Personally, I wouldn't have made it a 90 degree rotation though, it seems like the grinder is slightly inaccessible since it's so close to the cabinet. An 80 or 70 degree rotation probably would've been nicer to use, but obviously not as satisfying.
Also, you're point of "can't have a door, since everything you put in front of it would get in the way" is kinda invalid with this setup, since it has the same issue, but even worse. Obviously, this is a much more user friendly solution than a door though.
nicely done mate. the shutters back should be painted brown too. ;) :D
ОтветитьAwesome! This is exactly what i want to do in my future kitchen
ОтветитьFelicitaciones por tus videos !!
ОтветитьOmg! That looks so amazing! So much attention to all the small details! Bravo! 👏👏👏
ОтветитьJust put the white plastic holder behind the espresso machine. I don’t easel Lee be accessible once opened and fully extended.
Ответитьthe slideout has the same problem as the door that you tried to avoid in the first place. it makes it so that you can't have anything in front of the cabinet
ОтветитьI love how as ID guys we adore nothing more than Magnets Bareings and 3D printers.
Ответитьif you were a real coffee drinker, you never had the coffeemaschine to store away…
Ответитьthat is looking awesome!! but doesn't it look odd from the other side to see the back of the coffee machines and the cabling?
ОтветитьAmazing engineering!!!
ОтветитьCool but over designed af. Lol. For the door slamming down. Have you considered a counter weight pulley system?
Ответитьnice...
maybe a counterweight or bungee cord for closing the cabinet?
I love your kitchen 😮 Excellent work!
Ответитьsay nice stick fast multiple times
Ответитьwhy have glasses but wear em on your head when cutting...
ОтветитьThat's pretty badass - nice and neat spot for your coffee stuff. I have the problem of not having a "space" for my machines, just kinda hanging out on top of the counter. Great Job
Ответитьits cool but you could had just turned the coffee machine sideways and when it comes out its already facing you.
ОтветитьThat is extremely slick, well done!
ОтветитьHey Alex, do you sell the physical 3D printed stuff? I could only find plans. Could need to open my eyes more but couldn't see it. All good if not. That bambu lab printer looks like a good option. Thanks for the excellent content. Keep it coming mate.
And I don't think you should hang the coffee tamp. It will likely end up staining that pristine white coffee machine.
THESE SOLUTIONS ARE INSANE!!! Great work!!! So sleek and refined!
ОтветитьThis looks amazing. Love the mechanics on how it swings out. Next project would be to link the swinging out mechanics with the rolling doors so that it swings out automatically as you open it and also rolls down as you swing it back in.
ОтветитьI can only aspire to be this competent at anything.
ОтветитьI think if you put some weight on the back edge of the door, it won't go down as fast
ОтветитьAwesome work.
ОтветитьSWEET!
ОтветитьAmazing!! I love it ❤
ОтветитьGreat work.
Ответитьyou are totally crazy :-) lovin' it !!
ОтветитьBeautiful craftsmanship!
Have you thought of designing something that works like an auto belay (fall arrest thing for climbers) does for the door closing?
I watch all your apartment video in 1 day 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ответитьthat is super nice mate!
ОтветитьI am so excited that I cannot stand coffee. Now I don’t have to do this kind of project! Not that I would do it to begin with. If I did like coffee, I would buy a $35 coffee maker, and stuff it in a cabinet somewhere.
ОтветитьThat's amazing!
ОтветитьThis looks awesome. You could glue a rubber block on those stoppers so they don’t t make this loud noise when you let loose of the door
ОтветитьYou should also add a wooden gap filler to the top of it to make it flat like all the others without rubbing on it.
Ответить...and soft close EVERYTHING!
ОтветитьThis is so next level! I mean, I thought the rolltop door was cool, but then you showed us the swiveling drawer, and then you showed us the specialized track design, and then you showed us the cable management...I mean, come on!! :-)
ОтветитьWould you be open to selling the plans for the whole sliding/turning drawer assembly?
ОтветитьWhy not just put the machine on the drawer sideway? Hah I appreciate the engineering work though!
ОтветитьOkay guy, just take it easy.
Ответитьgreat stuff, love your creativity and craftmanship. do you design your ideas in sketchup? greetings from tirol/austria
Ответитьplease sell the cable management stuff that was AWESOME!!! of the rest too and incredible engineering as ALWAYS!
ОтветитьThis man can literally build anything!
ОтветитьFor your problem on the slide slamming, how about you add some counterweights on the back part, it will reduce your slam when you close it and I don’t think will make a problem when you open it since the travel is much less, just an idea
ОтветитьVery nice work, thanks for video.
ОтветитьI think that looks great. What are you going to do with the back though since you can see right through to your front door?
ОтветитьThat contraction tho, where do I learn how to make one ????
Ответить
