with this update my brightness slider stopped working. It is fixed to the max after I wake it up from sleeping. For a fresh start the slider works though.

I wish they had uniform icon shapes maybe round or square like macOS and also the all apps menu ui should be improved. In these 2 cases macOS makes it looks far better

Crazy that it took them this long to add VOLUME MIXER. This is like Windows 8.1, but even worse.

mirosoft should put things like paint in their windows store, if people need it they can download it, otherwise for people that have more powerful graphic editing software on their computer these things are pure bloatware, and clutter up our limited space on SSDs

Windows 11 still has poor arm64 support. With no Linux partition support, no USB WSL2 support. One plus for WSL2, is you can set the network to bridge mode. ChromeOS and Linux has better arm support.

I just got some features rolled out, and honestly, I downloaded a windows explorer mod app because of how much I hate the needless changes. Why do they make these changes and don't give us the ability to turn them off? It's like the tea rule. If you're not sure if the person you're giving it to wants it, either you don't give it, or you make it entire optional with no pressure.

I feel so sorry for you Windows users. Especially now with the new AI crap that might even replace the start menu. Microsofts is such a crappy company.

Volume mixer already worked this way in windows 10, just with a different UI. Not a new feature.

The volume mixer was previously only accessible with the Win+G menu and its finally nice to be able to do it without it

Windows 11 finally feels like a complete, modern OS!

As much as widows 11 is an improvement over 8 & 10, it's still riddled with the tackiness of Microsoft and none of these features are in anyway compelling. If your opening gambit is Microsoft paint then it really hasn't got much going for it. The only people who use paint are people who still have yahoo email addresses. The volume mixer showing all the controls is fine but you've still got to scroll down to find it so it's the same clicks as opening the controls and even so, that's hardly 'a feature'. What else was it you mentioned? I can't even remember and I watched this video 5 seconds ago. LED controls that don't work. I think you talked about paint again? Don't get me wrong, it's not you I'm having a go at, it's the shill corp that is Microsoft

Although I will never ever deliberately use copilot just like I never used cortana, I can see that some people will get some use out of it and it at least is something interesting Microsoft are doing. The rest of 'these moments' are just like incremental updates. I get them for all my android apps every month. I don't even look at the changelogs for most of them because they're so minor.

I've been using windows since windows 98 and I can honestly say I would love to see Microsoft crumble. I only use it because the software I need is made for it. My dream scenario would be an OS that has almost no features but is simply the base for all software. Want a start button menu? Download one. Want a file explorer? We've got 10 of them. Want Microsoft solitaire? How many times do I have to teach you old man!?

I still can't get over how you can't move the taskbar anywhere. I can never have a taskbar on the bottom of my screen. It's always on top, always has been for years.
