Looks good but can't see any spacers at base of first row to allow for sealant and between each tile for grouting!!!

Did you use a grinder or tile saw to do your top row of tile and your smaller cuts? Also not using spacers does that cut down on how much grout is needed? I am attempting my backsplash and I do not want a bunch of grout lines so not using spacers seems like the way to go. Thank you in advance

Hello, can I use 1 mm spacers for this type of tiles?

Am I the only one who saw that some rows weren’t central to the rows above or below? Also the trowelling lines need to all go the same way before you lay tiles on them. Full sponge contact should be used when cleaning up after grouting and only by using diagonal sweeps. Why no spacers either?

No spacers? And the mortar should spreaded perpendicular to the longest axis of the tile so the air can escape

My personal preference is for the first course of tiles to be half-tiles horizonatlly cut.
It creates a more harmonious reflection on the countertop below.

Also...what about spacing and grouting...

What bonding product you using...what thickness. Also why not using a notched trowel which I imagine would create some wriggle room when seeking to have the tiles lie in harmony to each other.

So no layout at all ? So you start with a half tile on the right, and end with a tiny piece on the left? But if you laid it out you could have 2 same size cuts.....
