Dante Alighieri's Inferno:Canto 4 line 63: "No human soul had ever reached salvation". Explained by Father Paul Pearson: "The gates of heaven were not open until the paschal mystery was complete. Learning about the Harrowing of Hell and then watching Nicholas Willey's explanation of the Paschal Mystery provided me with a much deeper meaning of the Catholic faith and traditions I've been familiar with since I was a child. It's also enlighten my understanding of Dante's The Divine Comedy. Thank you.

The mystery= Christ IN YOU is the hope of glory. The story of Jesus is an allegory for every son born from above. He was not a literal person that died for your sins. YOU must offer your life on your own cross.
