The Devastator | Chivalry 2 Subclass Guide

I ve managed to get a highland sword after killing its owner with a javelin to the neck. The highland sword might be slow but if a skirmisher can go on a 20kill streak without even getting hit, what can a devastator do with that.

leaping strike and the maul is just soo magicel ..you can actualy send a poor fool flying like 7 feet backwords

Funny how last video you said there is no weapon that can one shot knights then now you say that the maul can one shot.

If oil pot wasn't bugged out and literally makes me suicide cause its COMPLETELY BROKEN this class would be one of my favs.

Did you know you can catch a thrown oil pot?

I throw the knife and melee with the mallets

Regarding the oil pot although it may be common sense but I find it very useful on attack in Darkforest especially when you reach the burning barricade part on the bridge because if thrown accurately can actually burn more than one barricade which can definitely help with the time, which is better than the overly time consuming throwing a torch at each barricade individually.

Honestly I’d rather be a vanguard than knight since all the weapons other than swords won’t do high amounts of bonus damage.

Devastator has the best offensive push potential in the game. Fast and strafes long range and heavy attacks while throwing fire pot or mallets against a enemy wave. This class was designed to harass the enemy while putting in as much damage as possible from many ranges with little regard for defense. It's best defense is a strong offense which is constantly attacking while on the move so your enemy struggles to catch up to you.

Oilpots are also good against VIPs, in both offense and defense. You set a VIP on fire for good damage that they can’t heal easily or you can stall the enemy during one of these objectives

I like the War Club with the fast swing speed. Let’s me gamble or punish whiffs. Heavy attacks negate hitstop

Yes the oil pot that gives you -300 in score and -3 in KD.
