The so-called expert film critics seriously trashed this movie, yet the bulk of punters who saw this film thought it was very funny and a good movie.
ОтветитьLoad of bollox!
ОтветитьThe very best of London patter this film
ОтветитьThe weapon stash 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe film is brilliant it just has one major flaw, Johnny Millers accent, this could have been a great great film but to me as a Londoner him being the narator makes it feel inauthentic, i do not understand how Johnny didnt pull this off considerring what a good actor he is and how on other films his accents have been on point, trainspotting for sure. Still I love the film.
ОтветитьI came to the comments to find. FIX BAYONETS lol
Great Film
All time great
ОтветитьBrilliant film. Best British gangster film.
ОтветитьAbsolutely love this film!!! Great cast. 😅
ОтветитьGreat movie 👌😎🤣
Ответить1 Word ...Talent !
ОтветитьIf Johnny didn’t become a gangster. He could of been 20 years on. Teaching the youngsters how his courier work works and showing them the ropes
ОтветитьOne of the funniest films I've ever seen, and I just discovered it today. Great cast, great everything.
ОтветитьWhat a classic….
ОтветитьFix bayonets!
ОтветитьRay Burdis from Scum and his brother chris Burdis from Grange Hill.. So under rated as actors, but Ray is a talented screenwriter.. This is an excellent film, particularly when u realise the main characters take their own names, apart from perry benson, also from scum and rhys ifans who plays Matthew.. The only problem i have is sadie frost who is a shit actor but only got the part cos she was married to jude law.. If your into gangsta films more so if your a Londoner, watch this
ОтветитьMo from Eastenders . Denise van outten.
ОтветитьI don't know how it's 2023 and I've only just seen this brilliant film
Ответить"Mate, you're fat and I'll throw you in a river" is by far one of the best slurs of all time
ОтветитьThis was always one of the best bits films ever made. Anyone who disagrees can die crying.
ОтветитьSuperb film!
ОтветитьIt's Ray Winstone, not Winston.
ОтветитьGreat film this it really is. Especially being from a family from south london, everyone older I grew up around was just like this in terms of the sense of humour and the way they were. Very nostalgic
ОтветитьHa I’ve just realised it’s sick boy innit? Nah mate Kingston upon Thames is north west London, near Richmond, quite posh. Cockney is east London, specifically within the sound of the Bow Bells which is about a 4 mile square radius. It’s London though.
ОтветитьLove the irony of the opening comment "Dont hang round here babe, full of scum bags" said from a scum bag himself
ОтветитьWell good film and final cut class
ОтветитьVery funny film
ОтветитьI have been looking for a decade for this movie. I got it mixed up with "Nil by Mouth" (Another great film with Winstone and Burke) so kept skipping it on searches. What an absolute belter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьThis was my dads favourite movie. He would watch it over and over again- he loved fat alan. I remember dad absolutely creasing up when Alan gets stabbed, and then when he's thrown out the window. My favourite childhood memories are watching movies with my beautiful Daddy. He passed a few years back. We honestly do take for granted the little things. I miss you dad, I miss you every day. So I put this movie on so that I could hear your laugh in my mind. And although I would much rather be sitting here, watching this with you, I will laugh twice as hard on your behalf🫶
ОтветитьGreat old British film that
Ответитьlove the movie , haven't seen it for an ages ....these were the real man the real rude boys not like the sissies now a days
ОтветитьSuperb! Thank you so much for
uploading 👍💖👏
That ending was burned into my head as a kid and I finally found the movie
ОтветитьFix bayonets 🤣
Ответитьone of the best comedies ever!!!
i love this film
Hidden gem of a movie so many funny bits
Ответить"Wash yourself up quick babe - star trek's on!"
ОтветитьNot often do you see a film where evey single character ought to be consumed alive by termites
ОтветитьOne of the best movies ever
ОтветитьOne of my favorite underrated films along with "Twin Town"
ОтветитьThey have the same accent as me, awww I bloody love this film because it's so funny ❤️
ОтветитьI’m here for Jonny. It’ll be interesting to see him with Jude, whom he always refers to as his best mate. They’ve known each other since they were teens. They were part of the Primrose Hill set, which was a wild set. Jonny seems to have settled down (although who knows, since he’s very private). Don’t know about Jude.
I’ve been fascinated by Jonny’s accent. Obvs he’s great at accents (Trainspotting is a great example). He did an American accent in “Eli Stone,” which doesn’t quite work for me, although it’s pretty good. Even the timbre of his voice seems different in that show than his usual speaking voice. And then listen to him in “Emma.” Not a trace of London accent, at least not to this American’s ears. Then I heard him on a podcast talking to Scroobius Pip and I thought, what the heck? His accent sounds so different than, let’s say, in “Elementary.” Even the placement was different — more back of the throat. I’ll have to listen to it again to see if he says words like, “innit.” Anyway, Jonny mentioned in passing, jokingly, on “The Graham Norton Show” when he replied to Ewan that his accent was Cockney. I was surprised, but I hadn’t seen him in his earlier work, such as “The Bill” where he played a young thug and this film. I had figured his accent was Estuary English, but now it seems his accent is really Cockney. He was born in Kingston upon Thames. Is the local accent Cockney?
I wish I knew more about English accents. I’ve always found the subject fascinating.
Haha can’t believe they actually got Denise Van Outen to fellate a cucumber
ОтветитьWe're all grasses now. Sorry darling
ОтветитьBrilliant movie thanks for uploading
