Dave, we knew this family before they left Columbus to open pizza joints in Florida and Arizona. Yes, they are genuinely nice people.

Dave worries more about texture than flavor, it seems. For me, flavor is #1-2-3, texture is after that.

I went there last weekend after seeing this review. Maybe it was an off night, but it was not good.

So funny to hear Americans say all these type of pizza's while in Europe we only have 2, Italian pizza and fake Italian pizza (made by Albanians acting Italian)

Traveled and worked in the midwest (Indianapolis and Minneapolis) for many years. Yes, there are many nice people there. But the term "midwest nice" is definitely a thing. Initially, it's all smiles and pleasantries, but once someone leaves the room, the knives come out. I prefer "New York not so nice", where they tell you you're an asshole right to your face.

Ok so my husbands been following along and I have a few bones to pick with you… your scoring is so inconsistent. Like truly how are you rating these pizzas? We have gone to Hot Daisys and now this place. You rate this better than Hot Daisys?!! Like this stuff had zero flavor, you taste charred bland crust. Not tang or bite to the sauce and the cheese was rubber. They serve it with park cheese and red flakes for a reason…. I’m starting to look at your scoring like you are freaking google or something. Definitely not on yelps level. 😂 I did subscribe to your channel so I can complain some more when we hit up these other places you have been to in Phoenix.

Sorry Dave, I come from the Northeast New Haven Connecticut Area. I've eaten at least 200 plus pizza restaurants, and I usually agree with you but Crust brothers' pizza tasted like a generic Saltine cracker crust with average cheese and average sauce on it. It cost $21.67 for a 16 inch pie. Are you kidding me? You gave it a 7.7, I thought you know what good pizza tasted like. It was a cracker crust; I mean saltine or Matzo cracker. I give it a 4.5, I have tasted $6 frozen pizza that blows it away. I was overpriced garbage. My wife actually gave it a 3.

Definitely Ohio style. The people who move from here are always looking for that style. I moved here and it's not my favorite. It's usually absolutely buried in toppings. Those photos of the famous places are false advertising because this type of pizza is so far removed from the northeastern greats.

You don't even have to finish to know the score. That pizza looks better than most. The cheese isn't completely burnt, char undercarriage

This is why you need to try Stadz in Columbus, Ohio... probably the best pizza in the Columbus area look into it Dave next time Ohio State and Michigan is in Columbus
