ОтветитьWow dude, Superb quality. hats off
ОтветитьI noticed the transitions though I never knew what they were called. The Star Wars example seemed so intricate; it was my favorite actually.
ОтветитьDude this is legit. I didn’t even know what match cuts were! Super rad
ОтветитьIt's funny I'm actually using a few match cut transitions in my next project. I think I have like 3 match cuts and I'm pretty sure they move to 3 different locations. What great timing!
ОтветитьI did not know how to do this. Thanks!
ОтветитьThese are awesome! I didn’t know it was called a match cut but I’ve always loved this sort of transition.
ОтветитьHadn't fully appreciated the impact match cuts have on films until I saw this video. Found it fascinating.
ОтветитьIndeed Spirit is a great cartoon!!! Loved this veo and how psychologically they take us into the movie!!!
ОтветитьLove a good match cut! Like Michel Gondry’s work. Loved your filmmaking examples. 👌
ОтветитьThis is fascinating. The famous one for me is the bone becoming the ship in 2001.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing fantastic insight Camber. So much detail and its so effective.
ОтветитьLoved this! :) Never thought about watching examples in films for my own editing, really cool!
ОтветитьThis is so AWESOME! I really need to step up my video editing game :)
ОтветитьThanks for the great video. Seeing some of your examples, I have seen things like these, but never thought about how effective they are. It never reached the conscious level. Thanks for sharing this. I will think about it next video.
ОтветитьThis can be an amazing touch to any video! If only I had your skills. 😅Great video!
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this. Thank you so much. Will definitely be checking out more of your videos.
ОтветитьHaha Intro is Awesome!!! Match cuts really make films, I cant imagine a movie without them!!♥️
ОтветитьFascinating !!
Will be using this technique in the future.
L/C/S/W completely!!
Thank you for this Match Cut Examples in Film for Better Storytelling tips!
ОтветитьThis is so incredible that such a small edit can make a huge difference!
ОтветитьIt's so crazy when there's a detail like this that's so seemingly small but makes SUCH a huge difference. I didn't even know this had a name!
ОтветитьCool! Thanks for sharing this, Camber!
ОтветитьAwesome!
Ответитьnice tip
ОтветитьWow! You really did your homework on these match cut samples. My favorite one was the one with Morgan Freeman. I just love his voice. Great job. Btw: Spirit is a great movie.
ОтветитьNever knew what that kind of cut was called, but I know I've seen it all over. Always looking to take my editing up a notch :)
ОтветитьThey're a really cool transition in films! Really enjoyed this.
Ответитьwow this was insightful really !
ОтветитьWow! Love this video. I am actually on the process of learning how to do video edit. It's very timing that I've watched this video. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьI liked the Star Trek match cut. What a great breakdown of match cuts.
ОтветитьNever knew the technical term! I learned something new today.

New friend ❤️ Let’s help each other🙏🏽🙏🏽
You show a lot of great examples of different match cuts. Of course I'm not going to make a movie, but I think a easy match cut example that you used is closing your eyes and next scene is one opening them. Since I tend to do that at times I will try using this tip for my next video. Any tip to make our videos more intriguing is always appreciated!
ОтветитьNever knew what this cut was called. It takes the story to a whole new level. Excited to try it!
ОтветитьSo cool when you figure out the name for something you've seen in all your fave movies. Great video! Also Camber, no shade here, but one day you'll have to tell the story of how you "re-watched" the last Star Wars movie. I struggled through the entire movie myself. I think I cried tears...of pain at one point, LOL. Great video. Subscribed!
ОтветитьAMAZING contente man! Never heard of match cut but I have seen it so many times in movies! it all makes sense. I really like the one you put with the green stone and the ship was moving. I guess I will have to use it on mine now haha. Great job man keep it up :)
ОтветитьI like match cuts. Never tried them but I'm going to see where this type of storytelling will work. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat a great editing explanation. I think I may have even done this in the past without even knowing what it was called. You got a new sub in me!
ОтветитьI'm going to use these ideas this week!
ОтветитьI need all the help I can in this department 🙌🏾
New member here 💃🏾
I love this technique, tough to do it with tutorials though but I will definitely be keeping this in mind for s shoot I'm doing this weekend with dancers. I guess with anything though it should be used tastefully and not overdone. I liked how in the Forest Gump clip it zoomed in, then zoomed out to further emphasize the switch. These are great examples!
ОтветитьEXCELLENT VIDEO! packed with super valuable information. Thank you Camber
ОтветитьGreat video! You gave great examples to better understand the meaning of "match cuts" That Star Wars example was crazy.
Ответитьi never knew about these!!! thank you so much for sharing!
