Looking at this, I think the Mirror Double's "imperfect" (by ballet world's standards) dancing was her way of finally have the freedom how to dance how she wanted. Erractic, chaotic, just set up techno dance music and you got yourself a music video.

Detestei o curta.
Me lembra Black Swan.
O espelho é um dos gatilhos usados para assustar.
Tenho medo de espelho em alguns momentos , por alguns motivos..
Tenho sonhos premonitórios, muita sensibilidade, intuição muito forte e sei de certas coisas, sinto antes que aconteçam, coisas assim... então , já sonhei algumas vezes em que me olhava no espelho do banheiro daqui de casa , e ver outra pessoa.
Certa vez , vi a mim mesma com mais idade, acho que isso quer dizer algo. E sei a idade. E imagino o que seja.
Já vi outra pessoa no sonho no reflexo de um grande vidro.
Não é nada agradável, é assustador. Eram pessoas completamente diferentes de mim. E não tinha essa de ficar tentando imitar o movimento do outro.

E falando do filme achei patético o reflexo ficar tentando acertar os passos do balé. A história era só essa??? Esperava mais.
Não curti parte nenhuma. Perdi meu tempo. Falta de imaginação e criatividade.

Personally it seems to me, to come across as two sides to her, the one that believes they should do everything proper and by the book, and the other that's tired and wants to break free from it. But also at the same time lays the undercurrent for both of 'not feeling good enough' and 'breaking ones bones' to be seen as worth it. In some ways though this is horror, it can be seen as 'killing the perfectionist inside'

This is happening in the real world too, when genuine people met in genuine people and get vanished because of true love
